His au:

bubblegum is from a universe where monster magic, when ingested by humans, becomes addictive. this means anything from attacks to the monster itself.

monsters, after a large section of the human population began to hunt them down to sell as drugs, sealed themselves underground.

different monsters have different tastes. fire elementals are spicy, more solid monsters like the dreemurrs are savory, skeletons are sweet, etc.

How I imagine this going down is like, Cross works with bad guys and is good friends with Killer. Bro thinks, “hey, why not introduce my two best friends to each other? Whats the worst that can happen?”.

Gayness, that’s what. Epic has dorky comedian rizz and Killer is the team’s femboy at this point. Cross is the third wheel who’s just listening to all this.

This crack ship has been eating away at my brain for DAYS!!! They’re so cute and it’s very silly therefore it’s awesome hehe! Also Cross is here. He’s, uh, he’s not doing so hot… the three’s shenanigans are very reminiscent of early 2000s romcoms, AND!! I think Killer would give Epic cookie themed pet names,, because I think it’s sweet :]
