I hope this fandom takes away an important lesson from Mark Darrah's trouncing of Greg Ellis on twitter and the immediate solidarity from his former Bioware colleagues. We have NO way of knowing how badly a dev might wish they could publicly call out a problematic voice actor or address a serious complaint from fans, because they aren't allowed to.

That doesn't mean that fans shouldn't continue to raise serious concerns, but we should recognize that a dev's silence on an issue doesn't inherently mean that they're complicit or don't care. It means they don't want to get fired.
