To those of you who are fans of Digital Circus, and to an extent fans of Jobbythehong, did you know that Disappearing Man is straight-up based on Jobby’s Swivel Man, a Revoltech Spiderman, which is a red(and blue) figure comprised of a lot of ball joints.
In addition to the fact that Jobby voices him, disappearing mid sentence is also based a running gag with his channel where he(and his characters) tend to pop in and out of reality-
(I’m sure a lot of this was obvious to Jobby fans, but still)

I’ve been playing a Belphemon deck lately, and it’s honestly a lot of fun for how chaotic it can be.
It runs both(the one is Limited) Ukkomon to supply you with more Eggs for Proto while also being fodder for AT. You also have cards like Deltamon, Pummel Whack, and Black Sabbath, to compensate for the fact you are Playing a lot of Digimon, as opposed to evolving to them.
On top of this, the deck is also playing most of the cards that net you a draw or more Memory upon being discarded which also pairs nicely with how Proto and AT operate, so it’s very easy to put like 2-3 Digimon more Digimon into play each turn for little to no Memory.
EDIT: Cut 10 cards from the deck, I stupidly forgot the deck limit was 50.

Kimera LaGowe
LaGowe + BuCue + Kerberos Hound + Spare parts
Alus version of Kerberos Hound; armor that’s built for speed and close range attacks. Secondary heads have internal beam cannons within each mouth. Retains the ‘tank mode’, because it’s cool.

So I’ve been thinking about the Gizumon cards lately, because they feel like Yugioh’s Gadgets. For those of you who don’t know, Red/Green/Yellow Gadget are a series of monsters that have an effect to let each one search for another. Other Gadget cards exist to help out that trio, but that’s beside the point.
Each Gizumon has an effect that can help play it easier and also has an effect that doubles as a draw engine. Their initial playing gimmick can also help them play eachother due to the last effect that each of them have. But because they benefit off all forms of Deletion and are paired with the color that both loves to draw cards and utilize the discard pile, these goofy looking machines have a lot going for them.
Especially because this TCG has other Purple Digimon that draw cards upon deletion, or give you more Memory upon discarding, and so on. So your Gizumon can draw cards while drawing cards and can gain Memory while reducing their own costs.

I think Argomon is worth revisiting, albeit, still as a casual deck.

The deck’s main issue was the lack of consistency around BT17 Rhythm. the deck very much wanted more copies in play, but BT17 Lv.4 Argomon could only play her if you didn’t have any in play. As such, you were stuck paying the 4 cost for more Rhythm. But with the addition of ST20 Island of Adventure, you can more comfortably play Rhythm in 3s or 4s because of Island’s security effect. Hell, you can even toss in another Tamer or 2 if you wanted.

Another issue that it has, is BT2 Lv.4 Argomon is just dead weight. You are better off evolving to either BT17 Lv.4 Argomon to play a Rhythm, or to something like BT3 Stingmon. Since the latter of which can actually do something(granted, it’s an Inherited) and doesn’t restrict further plays. And on that note-

Since BT2 Lv.5 Argomon and BT3 Blossomon require you to Suspend something in order to use their Digisirption(both are Limited to 1, by the way), this is where the issue of BT2 Lv.4 Argomon comes in. If you can’t suspend something, you can’t play these for free. Ergo, if you Digisorb for the Lv.4 then you can’t immediately do it for the Lv.5. The role of any Lv.5 in an Argomon deck should be a (nearly) free evolution. Because if BT17 Lv.5 Argomon can do it, then why not the others?

Plus, it’s not like it’s hard to get an Argomon going. Green has a handful of cards to help evolutions, search, and play Tamers. Purple, on the other hand, has all the draw power, milling, and card recovery. Argomon just straight-up gets the best of both worlds.

So while it clearly isn’t going to be anything gamebreaking any time soon, I still think it’s got potential to at least be something.

Blaze Yukimura Gundam
SDW Nu + SDW Providence + Ryujin Doushi + Spare parts
I wanted to correct a lot of the issues that my previous Yukimura had, and I even took it as an opportunity to try sculpting putty for the first time(the texture on the shoulders and dragon’s neck). So in a way, it’s sort of an evil counterpart to it.

Black Knight Cal-Red
(Or Cal-Re.A Red.ver?)
Wasn’t really a fan of the gold trim, so I thought it would be fun to use a metallic red instead. The Sahasrabhuja Pods on its back were also modified so their ‘beam wings’ could thrust forward if they ever needed to ram into something. Lastly, and purely because I haven’t done this in a while, I gave it different effect parts for its swords. I figured if the suit’s own Wings of Light were red and spiky, then it would be cool if its own swords could do the same thing.

I know I have brought this up before, but it still really fascinates me at how the eye sticker from one SDW kit can be used on another, due to how universal the SDW line is with itself.

SDW God Gundam
Now with more hair!
I thought it would be a fun idea if the clear parts are only used for its super mode(or Burning Finger?). However, it looks incomplete when they aren’t in use.

Been a while since I talked about Build Fighters, I know…
I’ve been thinking about this scene in particular lately. Within X, there is what’s known as a “Flash System”; basically it’s like Funnels, but instead of smaller self-propelled beam guns, the Flash System employs full-scale unmanned mass-produced low-output drones that are dubbed “G-Bits”. All of these are operated by a lone unit that commands all of them; basically a hivemind(probably why the Double X is yellow/black… heh).
So I bring this up because: What if your Bits have funnels of their own? What if your Bits are just extra Gundams that can combine with your main one? What if you have Bits with I-Fields and ones with Phase-Shift that just exist to intercept corresponding attacks? What if your Bits are makeshift Doms that just Jetstream-Attack your ass? I can go on and on, because this sort of tech raises a lot of questions if you know full well you are allowed to mix-and-match parts/weapons/skills/etc.
Of course, this whole scene is just to be another shoutout to Gundam X, and Im clearly thinking too much into it.
But on the other hand…
A Hi-Nu with RX-78-Funnels would still be a pretty funny idea~
