It's as if our office network tells me to get back to Tumblr since it does not allow Twitter nor Facebook. Oh well.

Anyway, here's what happened between graduation and now: I enrolled in a formal review school, took the CPA board examination, cried with my mom upon release of the results, took oath at the PICC, applied for a job in an audit firm, and I'm now working as a tax practitioner in a Makati firm. Whew.

And since I have time to write this post, it means that I have no work on hold. But not for long. So I might as well end this one. Ciao.

P.S. Dear BIR, f*ck you for issuing new income tax return forms in PDF [At this point I did a photocopying job.] ONLY. We need the freaking Excel files.

Then, now, and everything in between (sort of)

Hi Tumblr! [After a loooooooooong hiatus this is what I can think of as a comeback greeting. Genius.]

Anyway, before I became dormant [wth?], I left everyone with a list of financial accounting topics I need to read. Then over the course of five months, I synced my Instagram account just so I can "update" [average of one photo per month].

The five months I was away, I enrolled myself in a review school. It's like college however there are no grades and all lessons are crammed (e.g. one subject in a semester is to one-point-five weeks). My life in Manila was basically "dorm, school" repeated with "mall" appearing infrequently. I also took the opportunity to tour around UP-Diliman (c/o Paul and Raine), the National Museum [I've always wanted to see Luna's Spoliarium. 'Sides, Luna is a fellow Ilocano. It's a shame if I won't see his obra.], and Rizal Park (c/o Edj).

SIDE NOTES:

Disappointed with UP Arki.

My legs hurt touring a third of the UPD campus.

The Spoliarium was really HUGE.

I really like Jose Joya's works.

As well as BenCab's.

I had my photo taken with the Kilometer 0 post and not with the Rizal monument.

I really don't know what to write at this point. Maybe I'm lazy. Maybe I can't remember what else happened. Maybe both. I'll just end this by saying that I have earned a three-letter suffix and that I'll start working early December. Cheers to a life at the corporate world.
