if you had read your own source you’d see that the hormones being produced aid in menstruation and pregnancy and removal of the uterus has minor if any impact.

the shit you were originally talking about would be what is described as early menopause which again is only caused by removal of the ovaries, not the uterus.

additionally, if you’d actually go and read through what so many people in the replies are saying, people have fucking died or gotten seriously hurt from being denied a hysterectomy.

but just so everyone is aware the uterus does not produce hormones, but ovaries do. however, in the procedure op is discussing, it would not be a total hysterectomy, so the ovaries would remain which also means that you wouldn’t be losing essential hormones by getting your uterus removed.

(this is like… easily google-able stuff btw)

anyways, this is like a laughably embarrassing point to make, especially when you claim to be a feminist and then completely miss how op was talking about how women are expected to get permission from their husbands or be married/have kids in order to get a procedure that is, quite frankly, rather safe.
