Ok ok hear me out:
I was re-reading the first Isle of the Lost book and I found this kind of disturbing:
Ben notices that some of their servants (Lumiere and Cogsworth) signed the Sidekicks United petition. When he shows his father and is concerned about them getting their voices heard, King Beast belittles the petition, saying that they sign anything and they didn’t even know what they were arguing for.
For a country that is supposed to be equal, the leadership does a great job at shutting down the minority voices. If they aren’t royalty or famous heroes, they don’t get a vote. Even if they do all the work.

This look always gets me because its a pure reaction of hope, a realisation that she could actually get off the Isle :’(

Reverse Roles AU - Headcanons
Mal is the daughter of Alice In Wonderland. While her mind is filled to the brim with curiosity and endless questions, her timidness tends to get in her own way.
Evie is the adopted daughter of Tiana. Growing up working in her mother’s restaurant, Evie knows that in order to get what you want, you must be prepared to work very hard. But, she has a difficult time forgetting that there is a time and place to let loose and have some fun.
Jay is the son of the Genie. He’s always prepared to put others first, even if it means that he tends to get the short end of the stick on more than one occasion.
Carlos is the son of the Mad Hatter. His morals and alliance can seem a bit blurry sometimes as he struggles to maintain good behavior and stay away from his usual mischievous habits.
Ben is the son of the Evil Queen. He constantly seeks approval from everyone around him, whether that is through his appearance or troublesome behavior.
Audrey is the daughter of the Queen of Hearts, although she is viewed more as a servant. The teen girl is used to following orders given to her by others, so making her own decisions is an unfamiliar concept.
Jane is the daughter of Gaston. Growing up with a tough father meant that she had to be tough herself, constantly barking out orders and not being willing to back down from any sort of fight.
Chad is the soft spoken son of Mr. Smee. The kind old man is one of the extremely few people on the island to teach his child the importance of being a kind, decent person.
Doug is the son of Hades. He is very emotionally guarded, as well as being seen as just a generally tough dude.
Lonnie is the daughter of Captain Hook. Her hobbies include sword fighting, spreading false rumours, and just generally being unimpressed with everyone around her.

Your writing is so awesome! Do you think you could write some sort of Audrey x Uma drabble? (Preferably fluffy 💖)
Oh my god this is like three weeks late I’m so sorry
I hope you’ll take 1470 words of pining Audrey as an apology
Warnings: None! Just Audrey being way in over her head
Audrey had a type. Maybe that’s why things didn’t work out with Ben. Besides that purple demon’s interference, of course.   Hot tempered? Check. Passionate? Hell yeah. Assertive? Why the hell not? Strong and athletic? Yes please.   Maybe that’s why she didn’t immediately dismiss the sea witch’s arrival. Did she like it? Not in the slightest. She hadn’t been away for very long, and clearly she was the only thing holding the school together because, in the time that she had been gone, Mal had thrown a fit, went back to the Isle, gotten Ben kidnapped, let some witch cast a spell on Ben, and turned into a dragon. This was the second time that he had gotten spelled by an Isle kid, which cannot be healthy. Audrey was starting to think that maybe Ben had a type, too.   Then again, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, right? Mal seemed to hate her, and Audrey couldn’t help but smirk at the thought of befriending the fairy’s ‘nemesis.’ To see the shock and betrayal on her face would be worth putting up with the witch. And who knows, she’s charming enough to befriend anyone. The witch would be lucky to have her.
The next morning, Audrey pulled herself out of bed to get ready to greet the new VK’s. Thick clouds rolled lazily overhead, hiding any hint of blue skies. A bad omen for sure.   After snagging a muffin from the cafeteria, she made her way to the front courtyard where Ben was already waiting with Mal and her crew for the black limousine. Wind whipped at her hair and Audrey wished that she had brought a sweater. Of course, she was too proud to admit that, so she simply stood a little closer to Ben, much to Mal’s irritation.   Ten frigid minutes later, and the limo could be seen in the distance. The marching band started up and Audrey straightened up, preparing her best smile for the witch. The limo came to a slow stop in front of them and they all held their breath in apprehension.   The door opened and a studded boot steps out, followed by toned dark legs in a ragged skirt, then leather-clad arms, a head full of blue braids and then cold eyes dark as the blackest sea. Those eyes locked onto Audrey’s and for a split second, Audrey swore that her heart stopped. Because villain or not, the sea witch was hot as hell and Audrey had never been so sure of her bisexuality.   “Welcome to Auradon,” Ben spread his arms in greeting as the sea witch’s two lackeys crawled out of the limo after her.  “Thanks!” The blond one grinned innocently at Ben. Audrey couldn’t help but think that had he been born in Auradon, he would have already been great friends with Ben and Chad.   “I’m glad that you were all able to make it here safely and I hope that any past misunderstandings can stay in the past. You are here today because it was unfair for you to suffer your parents’ consequences. Here you are allowed to be your own person and live a normal life.” Ben smiled at them, only to be met with a sneer from the witch.   “Then why weren’t we here sooner?” She snapped. Mal stepped forward, looking ready to fight when Ben stopped her.   “Everything is in the past now,” he repeated. Mal huffed but didn’t say anything else. “Uma, I really do regret not bringing you here sooner. I regret not saying anything against my dad earlier. But you have to understand that I’m trying.”  If either of the VK’s had anything to say to that, they didn’t show it. Beside them, Fairy Godmother motioned for Ben to keep going.   “Right, so if you’re all ready, we can have Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos show you to your rooms—”  “No.” Uma cut him off.   “We ain’t goin’ anywhere with these devils,” Hook growled.   “Well technically, Carlos is the only de Vil—”  “Give us her,” Uma said, looking straight at Audrey. Ben blinked.   “Audrey?”  “Me?”   Uma smirked, and Audrey couldn’t tell whether she was highly disturbed or incredibly turned on. There had to be something suspicious about Uma wanting Audrey to be the one leading the tour, but that didn’t matter when she felt Mal’s calculating gaze on the back of her head.   “Well I doubt Princess over here can do much to hurt us. I’m sure she doesn’t bite,” Uma crooned.   “You’d be surprised,” Jay muttered behind her. Sure. Audrey could play princess for another day. She was a natural. Besides, Mal hated Uma’s guts and this was the perfect opportunity to befriend her. Not to mention the undeniable bonus of Uma’s good looks.  “Oh, I’d love to show you around the school!” She giggled.   “You will?” Carlos said.   “Really?” Jay deadpanned.   Audrey rolled her eyes. So little faith. Always underestimating her. No matter, she’d show them.   “Of course! I’ve only been going here for all of high school. I know the building like the back of my hand. I’m sure I can show them their rooms just fine.” She said.  Ben shot her a look, as if to say, What are you up to? Audrey smiled sweetly at him in response.  “Come on, let’s not waste time. We’ll get you three settled in and then we’ll head to lunch.” She waved for the new students to follow her into the school. “See you guys later!”
“Honestly. Ben tells me to be nicer to you VK’s. I volunteer to do something nice and they look at me like I’ve grown another head,” Audrey grumbled to the three villain kids as she led them through the halls of Auradon Prep.   “This is our front lobby. Dorms are to the right, classes are upstairs. We have training rooms and gyms for our sports teams up ahead.” She rattled off. Up a winding staircase decorated with pictures and painting of heroes and heroines from before Auradon (all of which Uma and her lackeys scowled and made faces at), and around a corner with a balcony, they stopped at a plain door in the boys’ wing.   “Hook, Legume, you two are rooming in here.” She handed them the package that Ben had given her before they left. In it were the keys to their room. “Don’t lose those.”  “Aye, don’t expect a pirate to lose somethin’ like this,” Hook drawled, eyeing the simple key.   “Don’t worry, we’ll be careful.” Legume promised earnestly.   “I’m Audrey, by the way. I don’t think I introduced myself earlier.” Audrey smiled politely at the pirates before leaving them to get used to their new room. Uma followed her around the corner and up another flight of stairs.   “So, Princess, what’s your deal with the boy king?” Uma asked. She was so casually confident, digging into other people like she had every right to be there, but she made it feel open and friendly in a way that Audrey felt compelled to answer.   “We used to date. Then Mal came along and whisked him away.” She added the last part almost bitterly. Did she miss Ben? Not really. But did she enjoy being publicly humiliated? Absolutely not. Uma arched an eyebrow at her, gesturing for her to elaborate. “He dumped me for Mal at a Tourney game in front of two schools.”  “Need help with a revenge plan?” The sea witch smirked mischievously. Audrey shook her head.   “I may not like her, but I’m not that mean. I’m past it.” She said. Audrey stopped at the end of the hallway. “Here we are. I’ll come get you in an hour to show you to the cafeteria.”  Uma opened the door and threw her bags in, not waiting to hear the muffled thump of the garbage bags landing on the hardwood floor. Audrey tried not to flinch at the crash of the wooden trunk as it landed on the edge of the bed and fell onto the ground next to the rest of Uma’s bags.  “Or… just an idea, you can stay here with me until it’s time for lunch,” Uma suggested, her dark eyes glinting. Audrey felt her face heat up as her cheeks flushed red. Uma’s smile widened at her reaction. “C'mon, Princess! We can spend the time getting to know each other! Or, if you want, we can bitch about Mal.” Uma wiggled her eyebrows.  Audrey’s resolve melted. “You know what, why not. I’m sure you’ll need a friend here, anyway.” She said, marching past Uma and sitting herself down on the bed.  Yep, Audrey definitely had a type.
