Okay so for the update, this month I have been working on art, backgrounds and sprites!

I already posted a few backgrounds I completed this month, but I wanted to also give something more.... (smirk)

You guys voted Xander! So... here are WIPs for 2 of Xander's outfits:

And if you are wondering, yes I am insane and am painting multiple outfits for each character 💕

They will probably change somewhat for the final (he will definitely have necklaces and his tattoos) so this is kinda just a sneak peek 🥰

Next month I plan to just continue with art, I still have a lot to do.... 🫠 hoping to get through most sprites and all remaining backgrounds for episode 3... but we will see. I don't even want to think about the CGs right now lol

🗡Favor PSA Please Read!🗡

Sorry if this scared anyone- The game is still in development, dont worry!

As I have finished my first draft of the main story I have been doing a lot of thinking, and I just basically want to remind everyone that:

Favor is NOT meant to be a fantasy fulfillment romance game! Though there will be romance, Favor is a game that will have really heavy/ brutal moments and heavy themes in it.

I will include extensive content warnings for everything of course, but I really want to emphasize that Favor isn't a fantasy fulfillment feel good game so people don't walk into this thinking its a fun romance yandere dating vn - although this subversion was intended to be part of the point, I have decided it's better to be upfront about what Favor is, - or rather is not so people won't put a lot of excitement in this to only be disappointed.

(I know this next part sounds pretentious as hell, and im sorry for it 🥲) For Favor, you will need to employ media literacy and view it through a media critical lens rather than escapism.

I know a lot of people are bound to be disappointed, or possibly even genuinely dislike me because of Favor, but honestly Favor is turning out exactly how I wanted, my vision for it is not something I am going to change, It's a game that means a lot to me, and I'm super happy with how it's coming together.

I think the type of person this game is for will love it too 💕 I really look forward to the day it's done and like... the 3 people who end up liking it can yap with me about it because I've been in my head with it for farrrrr too long lol
