what age of ultron could have been like if joss whedon didn’t.

Tony would actually be the most likely person to do the lullaby thing, since Hulk was pretty fond of him last movie and the only Hulk/Natasha interaction we’ve seen before involved Hulk trying to smash her to pieces, so it’s sort of weird that the team just sort of goes like ‘oh, nat you have to most reason to be scared of Hulk, so can you just go stand really close to him at the end of every battle and touch it’s hand, it’s totally safe, like, you know he can break your bones with one finger, but he totally won’t!’ Like, how does a character known for her trust issues get over this sort of stuff? It’s totally possible, but it seems significant enough to put in the movie. I know there isn’t time for an evolution like that since it takes months or years, but hey, it’s not so hard to mention how long it took, is it? 

Also if Tony were the lullaby guy, we could get to see that moment, right before Tony calls in Veronica and starts the Hulkbuster fight, when he tries the lullaby thing and it doesn’t work and he is genuinely scared of the Hulk for the first time (and wouldn’t that be fitting right into whatever Hulk was hallucinating at that moment? His friends backing away from him in fear, leaving him, disgusted, their blood on his fists)

Natasha going to check on Bruce in the quinjet because she cares about him and he cares about her in a totally platonic way and they are learning how to trust each other other, which is a super interesting dynamic to explore without rushing into romantic territory in such an out of character way

Tony is standing behind the bar instead of Natasha in the next scene and Bruce jokingly starts to flirt with him because they have been living and working together for a while and they are goofy science nerds who do this kind of stuff all the time when they’re in the lab together

Instead of Steve giving the proud father speach after that (which would be really funny, though, because after a while Bruce would stop trying to convince Steve that Tony and him are not together and just roll with it and it would be okay until Steve heard Tony boast about Pepper to Thor and the rest of the movie Steve would try to talk to Tony about cheating on Pepper and Tony is confused, especially when he can hear Bruce and Natasha laughing in the background) but okay, Steve would instead be trying to talk to Natasha about all of her secrets being spilled to the world and how she’s dealing with that and if she’s okay because these two have been building a friendship over an entire movie, remember, joss??? and first she would avoid the question (because she doesn’t open up easily to people, even if she already sort of trusts them) but then she would tells him bits and pieces, about how she’s heard rumors of shield being rebuilt and that she has tought of joining them, but she’ll just be an Avenger for now and stuff like that, because Nat’s story isn’t about a guy, it’s about her, and maybe at some point she’ll be ready to find love (maybe even with Bruce, I’m cool with that), but building a relationship like that will take her years, not three days and an indetermined amount of time inbetween movies that’s never even mentioned

Just imagine how different the movie would have been if Joss Whendon had watched tws and actually paid attention (more Sam Wilson, better characterization of Cap, Natasha’s storyline from tws continued instead of destroyed)

At Clint’s, when Bruce comes out of the shower, she does joke about joining him, but in this dry voice, because they have the same sort of humor and they should make dry jokes all through the movie together and have fun. They still have a talk about Nat’s infertility, but it’s not a way to prove she’s a monster, it’s because she was reminded of that ceremony all over again and it really scared her and she wants to talk about it to someone and she’s really starting to trust Bruce. And Bruce tells her he can’t have kids because he doesn’t know what else to say and they hug because there isn’t enough platonic hugging in movies and they don’t talk about running together ‘cause Nat wouldn’t do that

Also just imagine how much more fun it would have been if instead of kissing Bruce and throwing him into that abyss or whatever Nat would just ask him to Hulk out and Bruce would salute her, go green and give her a piggy back ride to the main stage. Like, these two as friends who joke and smile at each other and have fun doing ridiculous things together (I mean, Nat is as much of a dork as Bruce is, they could have so much fun) Just imagine them taking goofy selfies, that’s all I’m saying.

I wouldn’t change the scene in which Hulk shuts off the communication thing with Natasha and sits in the tiny plane and gazes out of the window that was so cute I loved that scene

Over the weekend you may have heard of or seen - nude photos of celebrities were stolen off of their phones and posted online. It’s a terrible invasion of privacy, but probably the most disconcerting part of this for me is that some people are blaming the celebrities for having the nude photos on their phones in the first place.
