"Resistance at All Costs: How Trump Haters Are Breaking America" by Kimberly Strassel.
It explores how opposition to Donald Trump, in her view, has led to extreme political behavior and institutional breakdowns.
Strassel argues that this level of resistance can be harmful to the democratic process.
It's definitely a thought-provoking read!

Class warfare between workers and oligarchs is often manipulated by power structures—not to liberate the people, but to control them. Here’s how:
1. Divide and Conquer
By amplifying the conflict between workers and oligarchs, the ruling power can divide society into hostile camps. The energy of the people is redirected toward fighting each other—labor vs capital—instead of challenging the centralized authority manipulating both sides.
2. Controlled Opposition
Power structures may sponsor or infiltrate labor movements or elite institutions to ensure that revolutionary rhetoric never threatens the core system. Both sides feel represented, but no real systemic change occurs.
3. Manufactured Crises
Economic crises and labor unrest are sometimes triggered or exploited to justify greater state control, surveillance, or economic reform that benefits the state and its allies under the guise of helping the poor or punishing the rich.
4. The Illusion of Choice
By creating the appearance of a stark binary—“you’re either with the workers or the oligarchs”—power structures eliminate nuanced alternatives, such as national solidarity, productive middle classes, or local ownership models.
5. Moral Weaponization
Class conflict is used as a moral bludgeon to shame dissent. If you criticize socialist policies, you’re labeled pro-oligarch. If you criticize oligarchs, you’re anti-free market. The real enemy—the manipulative center—goes unseen.
6. Erosion of National Identity
When class becomes more important than citizenship, culture, or common good, the nation dissolves into warring factions. This makes it easier for supranational elites or foreign interests to erode sovereignty.

Florida State Senator Jason Pizzo, who served as the Senate Minority Leader, announced on April 24, 2025, that he is leaving the Democratic Party and registering with no party affiliation. In a speech on the Senate floor, Pizzo declared, "The Democratic Party in Florida is dead," expressing his disillusionment with the party's direction and leadership. He emphasized a desire to lead without political constraints, stating that constituents are seeking practical leaders over partisan figures.
Pizzo's departure follows a series of electoral losses for Florida Democrats and a growing Republican advantage in the state. Following his announcement, Pizzo was replaced as Senate Minority Leader by Senator Lori Berman. His decision has sparked internal debates within the Florida Democratic Party, highlighting ongoing challenges and calls for reorganization amid shifting political dynamics in the state.

The peace and tranquility of being a lawful citizen of America comes from a few deep-rooted truths:

Security in Rights
As a lawful citizen, you’re guaranteed constitutional rights—free speech, due process, equal protection under the law. This framework doesn’t just protect you from tyranny—it affirms your dignity and value as a person. There is peace in knowing you’re protected by a system built on liberty.
Confidence in Civic Participation
Being lawful means you have full access to influence your government: voting, running for office, petitioning, assembling. That sense of agency provides inner stability. You are not a victim of history—you are a participant in shaping it.
Trust in Order
Even amid chaos, being a lawful citizen connects you to a shared social contract. You can walk your streets, build your business, raise your family, and worship your God under the protection of law and order. There’s calm in knowing your life, liberty, and property are not arbitrary—they are sacred under the law.
