Worlds Collide

A/n: omgggg it’s been so long and this is so bad but I’ve had this storyline in my head for about a year and the only way I can stop thinking about it is by writing it so if y’all like this I’ll continue!! I haven’t gotten to see 1984 yet Bc I don’t have cable but as for anything else y’all want to request go for it. Anyway I really hope y’all enjoy (btw this was written on mobile so I apologize if it is formatted wierd or for any typos)

“Mrs. March!”

Startled, you turn around to the sound of Liz’s voice, “Yes?”

“You’ve got a visitor, honey.”

Looking at the clock, it’s well past midnight, “At this hour? Tell them to come back tomorrow, please. Maybe at a more appropriate time.”

Liz gave you a look, “I think you’re gonna want to see what they have to say.”

Sighing, you followed Liz into the elevator. James would not be happy when he came to the room and saw you were gone.

“Who is it, Liz?”

Shrugging, the elevator doors opened and she led you down the stairs to the bar, “Over there, honey. Tell me the details later.”

Walking to the bar, you saw two people. A hotel regular and a woman with her back turned to you.

You tapped the shoulder of the woman, “Excuse me, were you looking for me?”

The woman turned to look at you and you felt the breath leave your lungs.

“Yes, as a matter of fact, I was.”

Two hours later, you’re 2 glasses of wine and a couple shots down. You cackle and throw your head back at the story Lana was telling you.

“That’s when I knew she was the one.” Lana smiled to herself.

You grabbed her hand, “I’m so glad you found someone, Lana.”

“I don’t think there is anything as rewarding as getting to spend your life with your soulmate.” Lana says. You smiled and looked down. “Speaking of which, I hear you’re married.”

“Yeah, a few years now.”

“That’s fantastic. When can I meet him?” She questions.

Surely, she knew about this hotel. She hasn’t said a word about how you haven’t aged since 1969, which was the last time you saw Lana Winters. She had to have either known about the ghosts or the wierd vampire virus you had.

“Lana, do you know what goes on in this hotel?”

She clears her throat, “I’ve heard rumors. The ones about the ghosts, the famous serial killer owner who killed himself here. Even the silly ones, like the vampires.”

You snorted, “I think virus is more the term.”

“You mean to tell me those things were true?”

“Come on, Lana. Doesn’t anything seem possible after the things we saw.”

Lana closed her eyes, almost as if in rememberance, “I suppose,” Then she shook her head as if to get rid of those memories, “So, this virus. What is it?”

“It’s an ancient blood virus. We don’t age and we drink blood.”

Lana listened in astonishment, “That’s incredible. When did this happen to you?”

“1969, right after I left. I was traveling, got a room for the night, met a few interesting people, and the rest is history,” It was almost a dream. Those days felt like a lifetime away, “I was happy until I got mixed up with the wrong people.”

“Is that how you got this virus?”

You nodded your head and looked down, “I was an idiot to leave, Lana.”

She put her hand over yours, “It was what was best for both of you at the time.”

“It wasn’t though. Not for me. I left because I thought he didn’t wanna be around me after what I said and I was right. I stayed away for a couple weeks and he did better without me.”

“Kit loved you, Y/n.”

“Not as much as I loved him.”

“No,” Lana shook her head, “even more.”

You smiled, “He was better without me. You can admit it. He married a better woman and had a better life.”

“Y/n, he was distraught. He just tried to be strong for the kids. If you had come back to talk to him instead of just watching from afar you would have known that,” she cleared her throat, “Sure he moved on, but he never fully got over you,” Leaning in closer, she whispered, “He told me once, right before he disappeared, that not a day goes by where he doesn’t think of your beautiful face.”

Tears welled up in your eyes and you began sobbing over another man there at your husbands bar, cradled in the arms of a long lost friend.

At this moment, you felt your worlds colliding.

Hello, All!

I sincerely apologize for being inactive. The lady who owned domino sold him because he was too much horse for her. And then she got Badger! Unfortunately, she had a terrible riding accident that put her into the hospital, and about a week after being out, she passed away from a heart attack. It’s been a rough couple months realizing all she had gone through.

Right now, however. I am currently riding a new horse named Humvee! He’s a friends horse . Her daughter has been ill for over a year and doesn’t have the strength and energy to ride him as often as she would like. So I am helping out by keeping him conditioned and ready for when her daughter is able to ride regularly again!

I can’t wait to share the journey Humvee and his family and I will take!

Update

Hi everyone! Sorry for being so inactive. It has been really crazy these past couple months.

On that note, I regret to say that Domino’s owner has sold domino. It was the best decision for both of us. Domino was too strong of a horse for his owner, and caused a lot of stress on both of us with his explosive behavior.

But nonetheless he went to a very, very, good home with a wonderful young lady who is going to be consistent with him and give him what his owner and I could not.

And on that note, we have found a new horse, older, and definitely more trained than Domino. He is perfect. I am excited to start this new adventure.

Domino got stung by a bee yesterday and it swelled up pretty big. I iced it and cleaned it with Betadine so hopefully the swelling is gone by tonight or tomorrow.
