chanaeun:

naeun has been standing outside of the gym for fifteen minutes. the shade of summer trees cloaks her tall figure, hiding her from the large glass panels that make the gym. inside, lithe girls twirl ribbons with finesse and toss hoops with ease, naeun feels a twinge of pain in her knee at the sight. rain patters down, increasing in strength with every moment. “aish!” she curses, grabbing a discarded newspaper for cover, she looks to the awning at the door of the gym and decides against it, pulling the newspaper a little tighter around her head.

‘ naeun ! ’ mari called out upon seeing a familiar face. she sprinted towards her, holding up her umbrella for the other girl. ‘ you’re going to get all WET ! what are you doing out here ?? ’ she was actually very HAPPY to see naeun. mari had no idea how she ended up on this side of the campus & had been adamant on finding a way back. unfortunately, she had no suck luck. ‘ you didn’t even have an umbrella !! didn’t you check the weather for today ?? ’ she reached for the other’s hand, ‘ come on ! i think i passed by a cafe on the way here, we can get hot chocolate ! gosh, you must be FREEZING !! ’

she lived with her dad in japan up until she was seven ! her dad is a dentist and found some new work in korea so they moved there. she picked up on korean pretty quickly because she was determined not to fall behind ! 

nothing wild has happened to her at all... she had a nice, normal, childhood and was pretty well off ! wildest thing to happen to her was when she got one (1) c in high school !

she’s very bubbly and happy most of the time and tends to always look on the bright side of every situation. she thinks life is flowers and rainbows bc nothing bad has happened to make her think otherwise??

so she is not very Experienced with life ! not good for advice lmao.

dated some dudes in high school but felt gross for dating them. she only gave it to try because that’s what Straight Regular Girls do right ?? broke up with them and claimed she wanted to Focus on School.
