first thing you gotta know about hyunsik -- he’s filthy rich. had been since he was born, and probably will continue to be to his dying breath.

but yes, this shaped pretty much who he is. self-entitled, prideful, arrogant, and, of course, deceitful. 

his father main profession was to be the busan’s jopok head -- he pretty much advised on what to do and what not to do, he was the head of the whole operation. 

beside that he was also the owner of a chain of casino hotels in busan -- all the money they own has to come from somewhere, right???

and, to top it all, he also married big mafia boss sister -- meaning that yes, hyunsik was his nephew.

okay so hyunsik grew up to be someone really.............loose? someone who basically abused of all the power he had in hands

he had the mafia covering his back, and he had his father’s money to suffice all of his caprices 

so he used and abused of everything in his hands -- starting with simple indiscipline at school and occasional class skipping, to then actually becoming the school’s king, to finally evolve to his true for -- that came to it’s real shape when he was only sixteen.

it was also the age he decided to join the mafia -- her father opposed, but his uncle loved the idea; there was one single problem.

hyunsik was too volatile, too destructive -- there was no chance of their family’s empire thrive if he continuously spoiled everything. 

so okay, they let him join the mafia, they branded him, they gave him their tattoo and all -- but lmao no one was a real fan of his. 

so then they decided to scare the frick frack out of him -- give him a lesson once for all, maybe that would humble him a little bit.

combining both things, they decided to blame all the laundering rumors of one of the casinos on him -- it was him who was involved in drug dealing, it was the bad boy, it was daddy’s rebel son who used one of their hotels as a simple facade

and because he wasn’t that stupid, he couldn’t open his mouth to tell that it wasn’t actually him 

( of course he was involved with drugs and stuff but..........he is not really that dumb)

so basically when he was thrown into the program his father was delighted -- finally, hyunsik would be put on the right track, he would come back with his head leveled.

but he was mistaken!!! once again.

there is his true kingdom -- there he can simply rule without boundaries, and there, since there isn’t really a record of mafia activity in seoul, he can start his own empire.

so, due to my little hiatus i'm probably late with the revamp thing, but i thought i should post this anyway. so regarding lina there are not really any changes, despite of some small things. however, i changed up some things for yoori (to make her suffer) that i will explain under the cut. so please like this post for plots and i will jump into your IMs !!! 

tw: death, murder, miscarriage

this little bean is a criminilogy (how ironic) major and was arrested for attempted arson (yes, she can’t even do that)

-regarding her background, yoori is the second child out of three children. she has an older sibling (if anyone wants a dumb sibling message me) and a younger sibling

-her family is neither poor nor rich, her mother works in a small restaurant and her father is an indepedent journalist.  her parents never really payed much attention to her and gave all their attention to her older and younger sibling. often she would wear her older sibling’s old clothes ( but well at least they were comfortable ? ) 

- though she knew that her parents prefered her siblings, she never really acted up? she was just accepting it and tried to get their attention with good grades but well even that didn’t work but she was glad that at least she had more freedom because her parents were like constantly focusing on her siblings. 

 so in the second year of high school her life took a dramatic turn. due to an accident yoori got pregnant and of course her parents weren’t very about it and yoori as well. they didn’t have money to raise another kid and yoori wasn’t ready to raise a child. nevertheless, she decided to keep it. it was a very difficult time for them and

her father was a rather unknown journalist back then which meant they had to be careful with their spendings.  that’s why he was constantly looking for new stories to push his career and one day he found a really interesting story which could actually ruin someone’s life. this story was about a scandal happening at a big and well-known company in korea and if he published that story they would be ruined. that’s why her father tried to blackmail them  (his family didn’t know) and demanded a huge amount of money. however, the head of the company refused to give him the money and tried to get rid off this problem with a different approach.

so one day yoori, her father and her younger sibling took a ride home. the day had started really well and yoori convinced his father that she would keep the child. so far so good, but of course after some peace something had to happen (blame me). while they were getting back, they noticed a car following them and her father immediately knew what it was about. still, he couldn’t escape and a huge car “accident” (we all know it wasn’t an accident) happened. her younger sibling died before he got to the hospital and her father and yoori were badly injured. although yoori survived her unborn baby didn’t.

since then everything seemed to go downhill. her parents couldn’t deal with the loss of their child and yoori was just angry. angry about the loss of her unborn child and her younger sibling, that her father ruined everything due to his greed and that the company got away without any damage, just because they had the money and connections. 

her grades started to drop because she was was obsessed for revenge and of course her social life suffered as well and one day she just snapped. 

 she had this very twisted idea that she needed some revenge, she wanted to take something from that person (the ceo) , she just wanted to hurt him. so one day she woke up in the middle of night and decided to burn this person’s house down (because why not??).  but before she could even do it the police was already there (this is vague but lets say someone saw her??) and she was arrested. 

 -that’s why she is now a part of the program and she decided to choose her major in criminology because she wants justice. also her parents had never forgiven her (and yoori hates her father for ruining their life indirectly ) and said that she ruined their life and reputation (what reputation lol ?) . they don’t even know that she’s attending university and just act as if she never existed (as you’ve may noticed they were assholes since the beginning?). nevertheless, she saw being a part of the program as a chance and decided to do it on her own. 

now to her personality:

-yoori is a very dedicated person, basically that someone who would rather skip sleep for three days instead of skipping studying and not doing well? she might seem a little detached at times, actually she’s one soft-hearted and awkward dork who is just overwhelmed by life? she’s a huge cry baby but acts as if she isn’t and seriously takes everything to heart (but well she’s trying to be cool). she might be a little blunt but she doesn’t realise it and just pours her heart into everything. she’s like the biggest pushover when it comes to her friends and will always blame herself and feels like she doesn’t deserve them. however, she is very secretive and didn’t tell anyone about her past, so most people will believe that she’s just some regular student picking up trash in the middle of the night. yes, she picks up trash because she loves the environment. it started after she began attending hongdae because it’s some kind of defence-mechanism. she isn’t proud of her past and trying to protect the environment somehow soothes her guilt, because she’s doing something good, right? so she’s just a huge dork, who actually irons her socks, is very old-fashioned and still has a flip phone and reads newpaper because she hates change. but if you hurt her she’ll most likely never forgive you.

some plot ideas would be the father of their unborn child (GIMME THE ANGST) ( it’s up to the player what he thought about it and to make it even more dramatic he could’ve been the son of the ceo), a friend who knew her before the accident, someone who witnessed the “accident”, her best friend she could always lean on during this phase of her life, someone who remind her of her younger sibling or perhaps a friend of her sibling, just give me anything and i will love you! but i also have a connection page so you can check this out for ideas as well !

ok so i made a separate bio page HERE bc this would’ve been hella long otherwise c: but!! personality wise!! – she can be kinda careful around ppl at first – like, if she doesn’t know u or if you’ve just met, she’ll be pretty quiet and introverted but s u r p r i s e once u get to know her better and she gets comfortable around u, she won’t stop talking! generally, she’s pretty soft around the ppl she knows – if u ask her anything about her family she will straight up lie about it. literally, she will make up smth about a picture perfect family life w caring parents and fun siblings but oops she bought a new phone last week so she doesn’t have any pictures to show u soz – the type to stop and pet every dog she sees tbh. also the type to slap ur arm repeatedly bc there’s a puppy nearby and omg look at it doesn’t it look absolutely adorable?? – she’s v v curious about the world around her, mainly bc while everyone else was out there doing normal teen stuff, going out and having relationships, she was just…observing silently bc she had no time to do any of that :c make her go out more!! take her to cinemas and theatres, take her ice skating ( and teach her how to do it or just laugh as she falls on her ass like a million times ) or a street performance/festival/market and watch her be completely in awe about everything in sight! she will love you a million times more ( plot idea?? ) – alternatively, bc she’s so clueless, she has no idea what’s good for her and what isn’t. if u take her to a party, offer her alcohol/drugs or suggest smth reckless there’s a good chance she’ll say yes?? just bc of sheer curiosity smh – tbh, she can be a bit oblivious when it comes to ppl’s feelings at times :// if someone likes her, god help them bc she will be sO unaware of it it’s actually funny – if she could she’d spend her entire day curled up with a blanket and hot chocolate and marathon movies/tv shows ( she’s a huge harry potter nerd don’t even get her started ) – she’s an art major bc she’s found that it’s the only place she can pour out her emotions freely – that’s why most of her paintings are a complete contrast to her personality, all dark and gloomy :c but!! if she likes u, she’ll draw ur portrait! or she’ll ask u to model and probably make u like … an angel or smth – but!! this girl can hold grudges like no other! do smth to piss her off and tho she might forgive u at some point, there will always be a part of her that looks at u with disdain – bubble tea runs through her veins instead of blood – a HUGE lover of kdramas smh – she doesn’t really?? bother with cooking?? it’s either takeout or ramen noodles all day every day i?? think that’s all i’ve got for now?? if you’d like to plot with this mess or just scream about puppies, bts, exo and so on pls hit me up or just press the lil heart and i’ll slide into ur messages ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

born in busan 3rd feb 1997 to parents who paid v little attention to him because they were so focused on their jobs so it was always him and his older sister being looked after their grandma and bc of this hes learnt to isolate himself from early on ( him and his sister have a good relationship though, contrary to popular belief, because she tends to look after him a lot and he does to her 4 advice )

from a young age he was interested in music and he was always playing his grandma’s piano when alone which his how his love for music started

however bc of his parents giving him little attention he was prone to doing anything that would get their attention e.g starting fights at school, stealing which has evolved into him being a habitual offender so he often gets arrested for petty crimes

when he was 16 his parents split and he and his sister moved to seoul w their mum ( he never really lost his accent though ) . the split kind of made things worse for him and during this time he found that committing crimes gave him a lil thrill and he began seeking that . he also got mixed up w the wrong crowd too, began smoking & drinking shit like that 

the first time he was arrested was when he was 17 when breaching peace with his “pals” however his friends abandoned him and ran away before the police could get them so he was forced to take the blame

he p much gave his life away then, found himself doing things to get arrested on purpose . he found that music didnt do anything for him anymore so he stopped playing the piano n dropped out of school and just did fuckin wtvr bc .. he didnt care lol only survived by working lil part time jobs

bc of this he and his mother dont have the best relationship , says he’s the worst son anyone could ask for (:/) & they’re both stubborn ( he gets it from his mum ) so they’re always arguing . he will literally fight everyone tho hghfkjgfjhg

this time when they found him vandalising buildings instead of letting his flirt his way out of a punishment as usual the police had enough and talked to his mother  to get him to do the program so here he is . forced into it . but its made him realise how much he missed the piano so ?

nari used to live with just her father after her mother died while giving birth to her. her dad never blamed her for the loss, but she blamed herself once she was old enough to understand.

she eventually felt left out of her family once her dad remarried and they had their own children. she was in her early teens when this began.

luckily, she was able to find a new family with her best friend and her family.

although she didn’t know it until later, she fell in love with her best friend and began to grow jealous of her relationship with any boyfriend she had at the time. eventually, this jealousy grew into a full-on rivalry when her friend found who she believed to be “the one”.

the rivalry was messy(tm). the boyfriend would call nari out on her feelings and she would disagree by saying she wasn’t a lesbian and that being with girls was disgusting. (mmmmohmygod stop fucking lying)

eventually, it came to a head when she was having a conversation with her best friend and, in the heat of the moment, they kissed each other and the boyfriend caught them. thus, a fight broke out.

she beat the absolute shit out of him and the sounds of the fight alerted the neighbors who called the police.

so, now she’s at hongdae where she’s studying to be a nurse and just trying to live her life. she’s lost contact with her best friend and doesn’t really know if she wants to have contact with her anyway.

she’s also still terrified of the fact that she has feelings towards girls especially since she likes guys too. it’s weird for her.
