A day in my life

Today was another typical day for me. I woke up at 8 am and scrolled through tik tok before leaving for school. Thursday's are Win days at my school so I only had 2 classes today plus win time. Math was very interesting to say the least. We learned a new topic today regarding polar graphs. The last question we did together as a class was somewhat traumatizing. Literally no one got how to do it beside my friend and other person. It made me feel very stupid considering the final test is in a month. I should probably start studying but I haven't gotten to it yet.

My second class was gov, which was very fun today! Our Vice Principal came into our class talk about our 1st and 4th amendment rights in the school. I found it very intriguing, especially the part where our Vice Principal pulled out illegal smoking substances to explain the difference between reasonable suspicion and probable cause. Did you know that the school administration can search people if they have "reasonable" suspicion, which is more power compared to cops who actually need evidence of illegal acts? That honestly blew me away! We also had debates regarding gun right vs gun control. I loved this part as well because I love debating. It is fun to me to hear other people's opinion and to share my own!

After school I had lacrosse practice, this was bar far the worst part of my day. I am super out of shape right now so having to run for 2 hours wasn't an ideal way to spend my afternoon. I honestly don't know why I signed up considering I like watching the sport more than playing, but I guess I need to suck it up. It will probably get easier as time goes on but it won't change the pain I feel right now. Teams are also coming out tonight so I am a little nervous. I have been on varsity for the past few years but I still get nervous about what team I am on. I am sure it will be okay but I really don't want to get stuck with new players. I guess a highlight was I got to eat beef tips when I got home, which is one of my favorite meals. Now I am just writing this blog, but I should go work on some of my homework.
