More Stardew Valley dolls!! This time my non-binary farmer, Quill, and Harvey 🥹 Harvey was simple to make-- I've stared at him long enough after all-- but Quill was a challenge. Particularly their chest. They've had top surgery, but there are no flat chested Barbie dolls, so I ended up melting the chest into the shape I wanted 😂 it worked out incredibly well! Even with the shirt off you can't tell they ever had tits!

CA announced a second tour of the Symphony of Seasons and posted some really cute artwork along with it. Penny's playing the violin 😭🥺 so I dressed up my Penny doll accordingly!

Because I can't be chill about anything, I spent the last month remaking my Penny and Phoebe dolls 😂 I'm a LOT happier with the new version!

I still have the first dolls, of course! Here's the comparison:

Each doll took about 40 hours to complete. After removing their factory paint and hair, I painted on new faces with watercolor pencils, soft pastels, and gouache paint. I also rerooted them both with mohair and sewed custom clothes to match my art. I have some seasonal outfits planned for them, including Flower Dance dresses! Phoebe's is already complete!

I am so, so happy with the results. They are perfect. My favorite dolls!

I made a doll for my farmer and Penny 🥹 We had an event on the Harvey discord server called "When Fandoms Collide" where we mashed Stardew Valley and another one of our fandoms together. I love Barbie dolls, so I made one out of my two current muses~ Penny and Phoebe! 💕

There's definitely things I would do differently if I were to do it again. I learned a lot; overall it was a fun experience!

My punk rock boy, Ash. He's Quill's twin brother with a complicated past. He's a natural musician and plays the bass occasionally for The Pelicans. When he's not making music, he's doing oddjobs and travelling the country on his motorcycle.

Ash also causes some insecurity and rivalry drama with Sam by supposedly being a better musician and "ideal love interest" for Sebastian. He's not *trying* to hurt Sam and Sebastian's budding romance, but he's not trying to help it either...

Hop Barnes, the farmer's single dad, is a ray of sunshine. He rolls with the punches, he looks for the silver lining, he does a third grossly overused, pithy expression to describe someone who lets others take advantage of him. Hop entered the air force because he wanted to travel, but was discharged after losing his leg. Now he runs a mechanic shop in Zuzu and spends much of his time on Midmorning Farm helping his kid, Quill, out.

He's the dad character sending letters to his AFAB child in Stardew Valley, but he's also the potential child character of the farmer and Nami in Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life!

Farmer profile for Phoebe 🤩 I used the portrait maker here and edited it in pixel studio to give Feebs her piercings, tats, stretched ears, and coffin locket.

Quill, my lil guy. They're the farmer and an artisan, specializing in wine, cheese, pickles, jellies, and fabrics. They are head over heels in love with the lonely, handsome town doctor, John Harvey 🥹

The fic is written from Harvey's POV, so his perception of Quill is very much through rose-tinted glasses and a hesitant fascination.

My new farmer, Phoebe! She runs Lamplit Farm, a flower nursery in Pelican Town. She's besties with Abigail and Evelyn and the love interest for Penny.

She could probably exist in the same universe as Quill, with them being the large produce and animal product farmer, and Phoebe being the unrelated flower vendor. Penny's a closeted gay in Dandelions anyway, so Feebs being her awakening works out 🥹
