i actually finished a project !!! this is a cute little cottage for a sim with cows, chickens, and a dog. i'm really proud of this one. i want to post more finished builds but this is the first one i've felt was good enough to share. it's got a kitchen, one bathroom, one bedroom, a seating area, a dining table, and a piano. outside is an outdoor dining area, a space for growing plants, and a pen for the cows and chickens. i'm not sure yet how to make this downloadable for others because of how much cc i used, but if anyone is interested in using this lot i would love to figure out how.

ok i googled it earth's moon is apparently the 5th largest, i was curious if i had imagined that fact or not lol

minecraft absolutely is internet legos, but i raise you this: sims is internet dolls! if you get creative with the storylines. and there's also a build style called dollhouse building where you build a house that you can see into.

wildlife here is crazy. it all seems so normal to me so i forget that it's not for some people but i guess we really do have cool bugs. i've seen some huge moths here, and one time when i was walking out at night i saw a little armadillo. just, like, in a regular neighborhood. in grass. i didn't know they even lived here until that night.

i would love to visit the uk one day, especially for how much i've heard it rains. is it usually a pleasant rain? or does it get old? and does it storm often too, or just rain?

"band kid" usually means someone who played in marching band and concert band in school. concert band is like orchestra, just usually no strings (in any band i was ever in). marching band is halftime shows at football games and parades. i was also in a jazz band once, that one had guitar, bass, and piano. do you play any instruments? i haven't in years

i used to watch dr who with my parents when i was younger, so i don't remember that much, but i know my favorite dr was david tennant (don't remember which number he is oops). my husband has been trying to get me to start watching it with him though, maybe i finally will!

my favorite strange and entirely unhelpful piece of information is that jellyfish don't have brains (at least, not like we do). i love painting and drawing jellyfish because, since they don't have brains, it doesn't matter if you mess them up! i'll post some of my favorite ones i've done on here at some point :)

a craft i've been doing a lot lately is making bracelets out of embroidery thread. i just made one with hubby's eye colors to wear, and now i'm making one for him out of my eye colors. it's a tedious craft, lots of knots, but it feels kind of like a meditation sometimes. i really recommend it!

i have no idea how asks work since this is my first one so i'm really hoping i did this right lol. sorry for yapping so much, i love talking about stuff so anything you ever want to have a conversation about, i'm here.

yeah, earth's moon is actually one of, if not, THE biggest moon(s) in the solar system, i think, so it's gotta be pretty far away or else we would all be dead (or rather never have existed in the first place?) unfortunately, pluto doesn't fit with all the other planets inbetween earth and the moon, if i remember correctly, which made me sad because pluto deserves better.

playing minecraft with no mobs is so real, i can never have mobs unless i'm playing with someone to defend me because it is wayyy scarier than it should be lmao.

i had no idea multiple doctors dealt with the statues, i couldn't remember which doctor it was that i saw but i assumed it was just one. are they still making episodes with 15? how many seasons does each doctor typically do?

as for the u.s.: i hate it here lolll the government is awful and all of our food and water is poisoned and hubby and i would love to leave if we ever got the opportunity. but there's plenty of bad stuff about the u.s. you can read anywhere online so i will share some of my favorite parts about living here:

(american) football games - not the sport, but the culture, the tangible energy, playing in the band and just feeling the excitement of everybody around you (i was a band kid) (i miss being a band kid)

weed. i've heard that's not legal in a lot of other countries and while it's not legal everywhere here, i am very luck to be able to access it and use it as the only medication that actually helps with all of my disabilities

the u.s. is super diverse, geographically and biologically, so many different types of people and so much different nature. it's a massive country and there's so much to explore. i love how many different languages i hear whenever i go grocery shopping. it's just so interesting and cool

i would change a lot about the u.s., to be honest, but most of it would just be basic human rights (shelter, healthy food and water, and healthcare) for everyone at the bare minimum. if you have any specific questions about living here i'd be happy to answer them as best i can :)

Hi skrimpus! You got one of the best blog names on the site in our opinion. Anyway we're 293 batteries plus a human and you seem like fun so we're sending an ask to introduce ourselves.

We do quite a bit of crafting (pretty sure we found you through the crochet tag actually) but we're kinda slow so we don't post about it super often. We used to draw a lot, but not really anymore cause we weren't very good at it. Looking to start up again when we're less busy though.

As for video games, we never had the sims but we enjoy similar video games. Our current game is stardew valley, but pokemon is our obsession and we're always down to discuss haha.

A bit more about us personally (but vague so we don't dox ourselves accidentially). We're 18+, and similar to your age. Also, we're uni students who live in the us of a, and we're gonna be pharmacists one day. We're relationshipless aces, but it's pretty cool y'all are already married. To find that person for you at a young age is pretty neat, and we hope things go well for you!

hello, battery friends!

dudes i literally was so surprised when this blog name was available like i fr got lucky with it but thank you i'm proud of it lol

i haven't crocheted in a while, and i have joint problems so i totally understand going slow with it. i've been working on a granny square blanket (literally just one giant granny square) for almost a year now and it's not even that big. i just add a few rounds along the edges whenever i feel like it, but now that it's a decent size it takes me like an hour to do one round.

i don't think i'm that good at drawing either, but i've started doing it anyway. i draw bugs, ocean life, little gremlin creatures, anything that sparks joy. i do get discouraged when it's not turning out right, but i'm working on letting myself be bad at things. it's helping me feel less pressure in my day to day life and it's also helping me feel more of those random moments of joy. that one meme or whatever, i am cringe but i am free, yknow. i recommend it

do you have a fav pokémon? mine is bulbasaur. basic, i know, but i just love him. i have a stuffed one, his name is bubs. i also love cressalia!

the tree/star fact actually blew my mind, but another one that's insane to me is that somehow all the planets in our solar system can fit between earth and the moon or something? i think, if i understand it right lol

there's two doctor who episodes i remember more than the others, and they are: the creepy as hell angels that move when you blink, and the one where they go to pompeii and mt. vesuvius is about to SPLODE. i am excited to watch those again and see if my overwhelming terror from them as a child was justified.

also, i literally had no idea that each doctor had a different theme going on, that's so cool and creative??? hubby and i plan to start at the 9th doctor when we watch it. that's where my parents started so it's just more familiar i guess idk

speaking of hubby, he's been begging me to learn tapestry crochet so i can make hand towels with designs on them as xmas gifts because i have made 1 (ONE) hand towel and it is his favorite thing i've ever made for some reason, topping his hat and scarf and plushie from his favorite video game. i actually haven't crocheted in a while, my wrists started acting up and i couldn't decide what to make so i just stopped a few months ago and i really would like to pick it back up again.

one question i have for you is, are you big into video games at all? i'm a huge zelda nerd but i am kind of ass at actual gaming so i mostly just watch lore and theory videos because the story is incredible. also i guess one more question is do you have a favorite doctor? would love to hear about it, nothing is more interesting than listening to someone talk about their passions :)

The organization they partnered with to raise money for the victims of Oct 8th has Zionism as one of their core values. And in April they hosted the organization, Gvahim, who integrates new settlers into Israel's workforce. An active part of the ongoing colonization of Palestine.

Even besides all of this, the baseline of leaving curseforge is to divest in the Israeli economy while the war on Gaza rages on. An estimated 37,000 Palestinians have been cruelly murdered by Israel. (May, 2024) The number is predicted to be much higher.

Popular creators generate traffic and revenue for the site and contribute a large portion to the nearly 1 billion downloads in the Sims 4 category. Their choices do make a difference.

Providing alternative downloads is a good step, but it is not enough. If you are a modder or custom content creator, I urge you to take part in the mission to leave curseforge as a whole.
