The view from the Bistlecone Pine Forest on the White Mountains in California is unlike one I have ever seen. These spectacular clouds, distant Sierra peaks, ancient 4k year old trees and rolling dry mountains, are so unique and beautiful. Sequoias are not the tallest or the oldest trees in the world (Redwoods and Bristlecone Pines respectively), but they are the largest in terms of mass. The General Sherman tree is the champion (although Grant is wider at the base).
