Baten Kaitos favorite character poll (?)

I was looking at this post I made about the character poll for the Japanese Baten Kaitos fan convention, and I was wondering: what would a similar poll of the English-speaking Baten fandom look like?  

So here’s a request: Reblog this with an ordered list of your five favorite Baten Kaitos characters across BOTH games (EWatLO AND Origins).

If we get enough votes here, I’m gonna tabulate the lists two ways: one weighted (each first-place vote counts for five points; each second-place counts for four points; etc.) and one just “who got the most votes” (where each vote counts once and individual list rankings don’t matter).  Then we can all argue over which master ranking is valid.  (I believe the Japanese poll just counted all votes equally, so we do need a ranking in that format for direct comparison, but I think looking at a weighted list would also be interesting.)

I’m gonna make April 10th the last day to vote.  (I’m operating on Eastern Time here, but if it’s technically April 10th *somewhere* when you vote, I’m not gonna ding you.)  I figure two weeks is long enough for everyone interested to get wind of the poll, make up their minds, and vote, but not so long that everyone gets sick of it.  After that, I’ll play Price Waterhouse and deliver the results.

(If there isn’t enough interest, we can just let this post sink snugly into obscurity.)

Minor points:

- No ties.  Only five characters, and one per slot.  Don’t post separate lists for each game; you got one list to share between EWatLO and Origins. - Don’t specify different versions of a character (e.g. “Origins Geldoblame” or “EWatLO Gibari”).  It’s gotta be just “Geldo” or “Gibari” or what have you. - You’re not required to detail why you voted for your given characters, but if you’d like to do so to entertain us or in an attempt to sway the electorate, feel free. - Yes, this unfortunately does mean that you gotta have a Tumblr account to vote.  Please feel free to fill my ask box with complaints over restrictive voter ID laws. - Offer applies in five major continents; not valid in Hassaleh.  Duhr & Wazn, please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. - No cookie campaigns.
