Yessss rec me some Jmovies pleaseeee. I watched koi wa Tsubuku yo. I thought the actor was a lil old but I really loved it!!! Im gonna read the manga. Im gonna watch Kaito yamanemo its looks really gooooddd. I was supposed to go to Japan with school but they canceled it bc rona so before I bought books to prepare myself.

But I feel you..... I can barely speak my native language but good luck on studying mandarin!! It seems hard as hellll. i get why u wanna leave this site (im gonna miss ur writing and ur personality tho💕💕) and I feel very honored that I’m one of the reasons u come on this app ‼️Omg how are u gonna germinate a mango seed?

i felt the same way!! but i think that’s kinda common?? especially like u know with those student-teacher tropes (ew 😩) but i chose not to see it for that one ajdksks some jmovies i remember off the top of my head are: strobe edge, heroine disqualified, ao haru ride (the manga 🥲), kimi ni todoke, waiting for spring and l-dk !! i started but haven’t finished daytime shooting star and i’m gonna be honest with u and admit that i watched a jmovie with a student-teacher relationship 😔 it’s called my teacher. pls don’t cancel me 🥲

oh wow that’s so cool btw!! my older sister went to japan because she did a business course with jpns so she spent a year there! she loved it !! hopefully you get to go soon! 😋

the struggle 🥲 people always ask my parents/seem surprised that i can’t speak our language so they have to say that i can only understand it rip it’s kinda embarrassing ajdkdk but yeah if i ever leave this app i’d like to stay in touch !! u seem super friendly 💞

also my mango seed (BOTH OF THEM) rotted 🥸 i think it’s because we don’t have a suitable climate where i live but i’ve successfully germinated several avocado seeds (it’s become an addiction every time i eat an avocado, idk what i’m gonna do with all of them 🧍🏻‍♀️) so that’s a plus! and it’s suupeer easy if you’re interested!!! all u have to do is peel the brown layer off, wrap the seed in a damp paper towel, put it in a ziplock bag with some air and store it in a warm and dry place! then in 2 weeks there should be a root growing out the bottom! within the 2 weeks i like to check if the tissue has rotted (not as gross as it sounds, there’s just some orange stains on the tissue) and change it if it has !! i’m trying to think of a name for all of them lol

Yukhei threw a small bit of cheddar cheese at Kun for the lame joke he just said. For a second, it seemed that Kun wasn’t going to retaliate until a smile spread across his face.

It took a second for all of you to catch onto his pun; Kunhang being the first to facepalm, Dejun following with laughter.

You chuckled, eyes roaming until they landed on Yongqin who did the same. The two of you shared an amused grin and he shook his head before looking away.

THIS SUMMER?!?!?!!!?!! wow that’s really soon, i’m so excited !! my best friend rec’d extraordinary you to me but i think i only got up to ep3????? i’ll try watch it again (and hopefully finish it lol) cause the plot seems super interesting 😋 maybe i should take it an episode at a time 🤔 also yes i can !!! i mostly watch movies (idk if u’d be interested in movie recs???) but a jdrama i rewatch a lot is called, koi wa tsuzuku yo doko made mo. um i tried googling the english name but 2 came up (an incurable case of love + love lasts forever) and i didn’t know which to give u so i just gave u the romaji 🤧 another one i watched years ago is called, kaitō yamanemo, which is pretty funny! a friend of mine rec’d one called, shanai marriage honey. idk if it’s good cause i still haven’t watched it but she said it’s short and cute! also it’s super cool that ur learning japanese !! are u teaching urself???

I casually listen to kpop!! I mostly listen to the rose and exo but wayv is my fave subunit not gonna lieee. Omg u were 12??? I’m more interested in like kdrama’s and such how bout u? Do you watch kdramas or other shows? 💓💓

i see! what other music do u like to listen to?? (if i’m not listening to kpop it’s usually alternative/pop-punk! i’m super excited for waterparks’ new album!! and hayley kiyoko just released found my friends 🥲) but yeah i listened to rose’s solo because my best friend is a blink and she said she loved it!! also, i love exo and wayv is my fave unit......wow anon we do be having the same taste ajajskdk okay so confession: i’ve tried to get into kdramas but it never works out for me 😔 my best friend always rec’s me kdramas (especially the ones on netflix) and i can never just sit through it :// like i can watch the twilight saga + pride and prejudice in one day but then ask me to watch a kdrama and i’d be 10mins in wondering when the episode will finish 😕 idk why but that’s just how i am :// but aside from that i do like to watch anime, merlin, dr who, sherlock, criminal minds and i’ve recently started buffy the vampire slayer !!

Your eyes travel to Mark, just in time to catch him laugh at whatever Johnny or Donhyuck has said. Jaehyun turns to look at him too.

“No,” you reply as you begin to smile, not taking your eyes off Mark, “I’m good.”

Your finacé meets your eyes as he drinks his champagne. It dribbles down his chin as he mirrors your smile. He immediately grabs a napkin to wipe it away while Johnny and Donghyuck laugh.

“Are you sure?” Jaehyun asks.

“Absolutely.”

The brittle smile that spreads across your face breaks his heart. It stays in place as you stare at the ground and shrug at him.

“No,” you reply with a small laugh that he hates with his whole being, “he doesn’t. But he could, in time.”

“In time?” Doyoung repeats incredulously. “Why are you settling for him? You shouldn’t have to!” He follows it up with a passionate rant. “If it were me,” he says at the end, his voice quiet, “I wouldn't need the time.”

you stare irritatedly into the distance. after a productive study session at the local library, you were ready to walk home so that you could unwind and enjoy the rest of the day. and you were totally about to, walking is great for the environment after all, but apparently the weather had other plans for you.

that goddamn weather app lied to you this morning.

“clear skies with sunshine my ass.” you grumble as you continue to glare at nothing in particular. oh it’s sunny alright but with heavy rain. you have nothing against the rain. in fact you love the sound of it and find it incredibly soothing. it’s just that you didn’t bring an umbrella and, judging by the downpour that’s happening, your hoodie would definitely be soaked through in minutes.

you’re debating on whether or not you should head back inside and wait out the rain, when you catch the eye of someone walking towards the building. it’s the guy who works in the library—you don’t know his name, just that he usually works on the weekends and has an adorable smile. you shuffle to the right so that you aren’t so close to the automatic door.

he nods at you minutely but then his head snaps back to your direction when he’s much closer, a look of recognition appearing on his face. he nods again, this time with more enthusiasm and, hey, he even shoots you his megawatt smile. it’s enough to ebb away some of your annoyance and you can’t help but smile back with a nod of your own. he then walks past you, pressumably to start his shift, but then, suprisingly, you see him backpedal and move towards you from the corner of your eye.

“do you need this?” he asks and when you turn to face him, he’s holding out his umbrella. it’s unopened and wet and you can’t help but stare it at and then at him. when he shifts back and forth, his expression becoming increasingly unsure, you agree and take it from him which results in him beaming at you again.

“thank you so much. . .” you trail off, wanting to address him by name but that’s difficult when you don’t actually know it.

“jeno.”

“thanks jeno! i promise i’ll give it back to you.”

jeno shrugs his left shoulder, smile still in place. “i’m here almost every single weekend.”

“i know. sometimes i come here just to see you.” you admit without thinking, and it’s only when his expression shifts to one that speaks of pleasant surprise that your brain catches up. “i–! no! that–!” you sputter, eyes widening in horror.

the brunet laughs and you find that you want trap the sound in a bottle because it sounds really nice. “‘s’kay,” he assures, “the days you’re here are the ones i like the most.” he says shyly once he sobers up and oh. wow. before you can say anything, he jabs his thumb behind his shoulder. “i’ve gotta start my shift but i’ll see you next week? y’know, so you can give me back my umbrella?”

“i’ll do you one better,” you tell him, gaining a burst of boldness, “let’s go for some coffee tomorrow.”

jeno agrees immediately. you give him your name, swap numbers and then you watch him head inside with a skip in his step. when you turn to leave, you don’t even need to use the umbrella anymore. and you can’t help but smile widely as you eye the rainbow that stretches across the sky, secretly thankful that it rained.
