Jun: Yellow (hex code #ffc71a)

yellow and its bright properties not only catch your eye, but also invoke happiness and optimism on the viewer. usage of the colour yellow also implies a youthful aura and energy. unlike the "default yellow" (hex code #ffff00),  this shade has a warmer tone to it, almost like the Eternal Sunshine version of YMMD, alluding to a sunrise/sunset or just sunshine in general. the fact that this shade is warmer takes away the strain that overuse of the colour yellow puts on the eyes, making this shade especially unique; despite it being bright, it isn't overdone and is still pleasing to look at and have on your colour palette.

Joshua: Pastel green (hex code #cfefdd)

green is the easiest colour for the eye to process and is associated with nature. as soft as joshua's voice is, the colour green represents peace and tranquility. green is also linked with stress relief and harmony, which perfectly matches joshua as we all know hong jisoo is actually hong jesus and we all need him and his soft voice to release that tension in our lives. what distinguishes this particular shade of green from a stronger, more natural  shade of green is that it's a shade very close to white, representing purity, but not quite there yet 😉

Jeonghan: Lavender (hex code #c3ccfe)

purple is generally considered a colour describing royalty and wisdom, yet amp it up a few tints closer to white and a few tints towards blue and you get lavender. the colour purple also denotes creativity, a hint of childishness and mischief. because of its bright tint, it tends to soothe and relax the eye of the viewer, as jeonghan's voice does to the ears of carats especially in vocal team songs. (when i was thinking of the colours to write about, i wanted to go for a darker shade of purple, attributing to jeonghan's ideal cut performance called Purple Rose, yet the vibe that colour gives off doesn't suit jeonghan's personality entirely, so i decided to go for a brighter shade.)

we also need to talk about jeonghan in purple hair that needs a comeback

S.Coups: Grey (hex code #d8d8d8)

(ironic how the hex code is d8d8d8 but the colour isn't for the8 😛) grey is often overlooked as a colour, despite it being one of the most prevalent colours that we see around us. the colour grey stands out and is designed to relax your eyes in a world full of bright, vibrant colours that catch your attention. grey is also that middle point, that balance, between white and black. most importantly, it would be a lie to say that one of seungcheol's best looks isn't from teenage era when he had silver hair. (silver and grey aren't the same i know but grey suits the description more appropriately)
