Check out these videos of the new Century Maker Space and Library! Our CHS students have an opportunity to work technology to build lifelong skills. Hard to imagine, but the strip of dirt @valley.hs.falcons in front of today’s Groundbreaking Ceremony is going to soon be the best Culinary Arts training facility in Orange County alongside a next generation Automotive Technology center that will enable education on next-generation electric vehicle technology! Big thanks to @katieanneberger , @rozemajeff , and the whole Valley team, plus Don and the @ctesausd team, and very importantly the Board for its vision. This was a team effort to get to this day, and @theschoolplannerguy (Kedarious Colbert), our Senior Facilities Planner, led the group through that work over the last two years. Washington Elementary transformed!!! So exciting to share a progress update today to teachers and staff at Washington. The smiles and interest on everyone’s faces were a huge reward for the years of work to get to this point. Looking forward to the first phase of modernization work getting started this summer and the new construction starting as soon as State approval and bidding are complete. Check out the brand new PreK and Kinder buildings going up at McFadden for the exciting new PreK-8 program! They look extraordinary!
