No one form of art has ever been enough for me.
When I make music, I wish to dance.
When I dance, I wish to write.
When I write, I wish to illustrate.
When I illustrate, I wish to make music.
No creative idea comes from empty space; it comes from other creativity. When you feel uninspired, immerse yourself in something else, and the ideas will flow.
Don’t let art tell you what to feel, just let yourself feel what comes. We are allowed and supposed to be creatively greedy, to pick and choose inspiration and feeling however we desire.

If it’s a daily or weekly habit that causes more negativity in your life, then it’s a broken habit. Lose it. Keep and OR create new habits that will add positivity to your life. It’s your choice. It’s your habit to keep or lose. Chose positivity. Chose happy on the daily.

Just watched a great Ted talk delivered by Sir Ken Robinson about the role our education plays in the development of creativity. He makes a lot of good points throughout the video but the one that resonated with me the most was when he talks about the idea of school and how children are taught not to follow their interests and instead they should focus on something degree worthy. Schools instill the fear of failure into children’s mind at a very early age. They are taught to learn the information they are given and to be able to recall the information on a test. What this leads to is kids being scared to take risks because they are scared to fail.
Here is a short excerpt from his speech that exemplifies his message towards the situation:
“What these things have in common is that kids will take a chance. If they don't know, they'll have a go. Am I right? They're not frightened of being wrong. I don't mean to say that being wrong is the same thing as being creative. What we do know is, if you're not prepared to be wrong, you'll never come up with anything original -- if you're not prepared to be wrong. And by the time they get to be adults, most kids have lost that capacity. They have become frightened of being wrong. And we run our companies like this. We stigmatize mistakes. And we're now running national education systems where mistakes are the worst thing you can make. And the result is that we are educating people out of their creative capacities.”
As a child, the brain is capable of anything. Mental boundaries do not exist since children are learning as they go which means they are at the stage in their life where their brain is the most malleable. Following their interests and allowing them to express creativity is far more beneficial to a developing brain than cramming their head with facts and punishing them for not remembering everything.
LETS MAKE A CHANGE
School is where my fear of failure was developed and it took me 18 years to realize that failure is not a bad thing, it’s just part of the process.

Growth
Self-Development is one of the most important aspects of business. Learning from failure and applying the knowledge gained through the experience is the reason I am the person I am. If you do not allow yourself to be open to new concepts or trying something different, you will remain stagnant. The way to move forward and develop yourself is to go out of your comfort zone. Doing so allows you to learn things you never would have been exposed to without taking a risk. The type of lessons learned are the ones that will define you.
Growth for me was accepting when I was wrong. Collaboration is a huge part of the creative process and by not accepting others ideas, it was hard to establish well-rounded concepts. By opening up and allowing myself to hear what others had to say, I was able to grow immensely both mentally and emotionally. Accepting the fact that I didn’t have an answer for everything was my first step on the path to success.
Personal Development doesn’t come easily. It’s a lot of getting knocked down and being strong enough to get back up every single time. Expand your borders and you’ll see what I am talking about.
I have learned from my failures and used the experience to make sure they never happen again. The amount I’ve grown through trial and error is ridiculous. Now, I’m the kind of guy who doesn’t make the same mistake twice because of the emphasis I put on learning from experience.
I used to fear failure. I was not moving forward. Once I was able to accept failure as part of the process, I was finally able to grow personally. As a person who used to become discouraged after not succeeding the first time, I am proud to say that failure is what makes me great. When you can accept the same thing, you too will see yourself growing for the better.

This is the result of failure.
Not what you were expecting, right?
Countless failures led us to success...
Plan after plan...
Failure after failure...
What came out of it? $16,000 worth of sneakers.
Don’t be afraid to fail.

Another personal example of failure leading to success is Vyper Network. My friends and I created a start-up company that sells software that assists in the purchasing of limited, highly sought after sneakers. Originally, we used the program to buy the shoes ourselves and we would resell the shoes at a marked up price. We made good money while doing it but we wanted to do more. We used the products we bought to promote ourselves through social media and it became obvious that people were willing to pay a lot of money to use our program. That’s when VyperNetwork really took off. The exposure through social media meant that we had an audience to sell to, however a lot more goes into it than you may think. While going through this, we experienced failure after failure. By the time we were ready to release our first wave of copies we were already somewhere near Plan T. It took around six months to finally perfect our idea which made release day so much more special. It was an exciting time for us and when we saw how easy the release went, we were ecstatic. The next day though, everything came crashing down. We had used PayPal as our payment gateway but at the time we were not registered as a business. They limited our account and denied us access to our funds for three months. Instead of accepting that and waiting around for our money to be released, we decided to refund the orders and go back to the drawing board. We learned from our mistakes and took the necessary actions needed to make the next release go down without a hitch.

I found a great article explaining ways to try to bring out your inner creativity. Everybody is capable of creative thinking, these are just a few tips to help find that creativity!
Notable Points:
Get out of your comfort zone and expose yourself to new experiences
Take a phone call with a stranger
Change your DIET
Write an essay that has no topic : This is probably my favorite. In practice, it allows you to get any ideas in your head out on paper and with no topic or prompt to follow, you find yourself elaborating further and further. It develops more structured, thorough concepts that are thought out and perfected.

EXPECT IT

NOT EVERYTHING GOES AS PLANNED.
TRY, TRY AGAIN
NEVER QUIT
When things don’t work out, take a step back, regroup your thoughts, and try again. The first plan does not always work. Failure is a necessary step on the pathway to success.
Personal Failure:
Changing habits is no small feat to attain. I attempted to change the way i go about my day. I used to wake up twenty minutes before class started, popped on my hat and made the dreaded walk across campus. My attitude was holding me back from fully engaging in my assignments. To fully apply myself, I realized I had to make a change. The first idea I had was to wake up an hour earlier to give myself time to shower and start my day off right. When I tried this, it worked out great on the days that class started at 10:05, however when I woke up an hour early for my 8:30, it was a huge mistake. Instead of feeling energized and determined to apply myself, I was more exhausted than I had ever been in a class.  I ended up sleeping during my 8:30 and my 10:05, completely missing the lesson taught. I knew I needed to make some tweaks to my plan. I decided that there was more that I needed to do to be more productive. I went back to the drawing board and came up with a new plan; be in bed by 11:30, wake up 45 minutes early for classes.  I immediately noticed a big difference in my energy levels and I no longer dreaded going to class. Even though it was something as small as changing my daily routine to be more productive, it took multiple attempts with a different course of action for each.

                                BRAINSTORMING DONE RIGHT
Take the time to get all of your ideas down. Seeing them laid out in front of you will allow you the opportunity to weigh your options and possibly combine ideas in order to formulate a stronger concept.
For me, my project was to change some of my everyday habits. Initially I thought it would be an easy task to accomplish, but I soon learned that changing a habitual action is a lot easier said than done. I started by laying out as many bad habits as I could think of. I then grouped together the ones I felt had similar underlying causes and began working on solutions. Seeing my all of my options in front of me,  I was able to determine which ideas were actually feasible.
Once I narrowed down my ideas, I had a complex list of viable options to choose from. I combined problems and mapped out solutions that I thought would work. Next step is to formulate a detailed plan that you will attempt to carry out .

Creativity to me
Creativity is being resourceful and using original ideas to solve a problem. This picture of various technology represents creativity to me because I believe there is so much creativity that goes into problem solving using computer programs or a new piece of technology. A creative person is someone who can think outside of the box when it comes to developing a new idea or solving a problem they are facing. Creativity can be stopped when an individual is not thinking proactively or when fear of failure takes over and prevents us from creating these new ideas because we don't want to be wrong. In the future I see myself using technology in a creative way in order to solve problems I am facing. I want to be able to say that I have been creative in the advancement and application of technology in the future. Using new ideas to transform the way we live is probably the hottest trend right now and I would like to be apart of that.

Hey guys! I contacted Michelle Donahue, a writer for the Smithsonian Magazine online and asked her some questions that I was curious about. In my opinion, technology is going to expand further than we could have ever possibly imagined. We are capable of anything. Likewise, as glorious as the world may become with new technology, it could potentially ruin our way of life all together. Smart devices are becoming capable of learning the same way a human would. Clearly there are good intentions in relation to this type of tech, however there is also a risk that we wont be able to control it eventually. Developing a world based around technology, just like any other concept, has its positives and negatives. The future is looking bright but we must work to preserve our values in order to make sure we don’t stray too far from reality.

Technology Growth
What do you guys think is gonna happen with technology in the future? It’s crazy to think about how far we’ve come already and at this point, the sky is the limit. That’s why it is so important to write down your ideas no matter how far-fetched you think they are! I am going to contact a professional and try to get some info....stay posted
