We've called to reschedule my heart tests and consult until after my parents come back... bitter sweet, because my heart is actually dog shit right now, but if anything happened to Pumba because I neglected his health, I'd never forgive myself... So he's going to the vets this evening, what I have in savings will go towards his bills and then we figure out the rest from there (which will end up me loaning money from my 'rents most likely). The heart tests and consult together were almost 1k, so it's a huge weight off my shoulders to give me more time to save for them (whenever my disability allowance comes back). Ugh this is all such a mess and so stressful 😫 I'm also nervous for Pumba because he's old and Frenchie's with surgery stuff is scary. 😥 Will update later tonight on him and what's happening and how he's doing. He doesn't seem in pain which is good, the tooth has been dead for years and I kept asking vets about getting it removed because I was concerned about it and they always told me "it's fine, he's not in pain so it doesn't need to be removed"... well now he has a broken tooth that's still in his gum so maybe you should have just listened to me because sometimes pet owners know what they are talking about (shocking I know)... anyways... 😤 I guess now I wait 2 more months to find out how badly fucked up my heart is 🙃 Sorry for so much personal shit lately... things have been difficult and I am struggling 😅 I am slowly working on new art.. LOTS of new art, very, very slowly LOL

I swear this is the year of "jeri thought they had money struggles before - let's show them what it's really like" 🤡 Can't afford my Heart Tests, or my next Long Covid consult (both next month along with my Lung Tests, which i now can't afford that, even though most of it's paid by my insurance), Disability payments have been put on hold and now my dog has broken a tooth and probably needs the rest of it surgically removed and OF COURSE my parents can't help me with any of it because they are going on a "holiday of a life time" to see my sister and her family in america in june… without me 😁

Bumping this again, I just want to thank everyone who has helped so far. It honestly means the world to me and yous have no idea (yous probably do tbf) how much you are helping me. I really do appreciate it so much. Yesterday I didn't get my disability allowance, today after it still not coming through, my dad phoned up and we've been told that it's on hold due to them sending a letter to my old address and getting a "person doesn't live here anymore" notice that my payment was put on hold - fair enough, I thought that was probably the reasoning (and that's honestly my bad because I was never meant to stay at my parents this long). However, this has put me in a bit of a pickle, because I was using that money to put into savings to help pay for all of this and more that will now be coming up in May too (a Pulmonary Function Test, which thankfully I only have to pay a bit on and my insurance covers the rest, and then a follow up consultation fee, which I've no idea what the cost will be yet but the last one cost me €300). I am so unbelievably stressed right now, we are sending all the info off we need to today which should kick up payments again, but I have no idea how long that will take. I hate doing this, I was raised all my life never to ask for help and it feels like I should be handling this all on my own, but I can't work, I can't take emergency commissions and I can't stream to fundraise... I am feeling very overwhelmed.

At this point... I dunno what to write. My name is Jeri, I'm trans, chronically ill (auto immune) and disabled and in Feb '23 I got Covid extremely badly, on my first ever holiday, after isolating since the start of the pandemic. I lost my voice for 6 months, due to coughing tearing up my throat and I gained a heart condition and lung issues, along with chronic fatigue. We (finally) are in the process of figuring out how bad long covid has messed up my body. I feel completely lost and I feel absolutely horrendous once again asking for help with Long Covid stuff. But I don't know what else to do... I don't have the energy to do a fundraising stream, since my heart has been really bad over the last 3 weeks. I was thinking of taking on emergency commissions, but I don't have the energy to do that either 😥 I'll be putting in whatever I can into savings over the next month (starting today), but I did the math and it's not enough to what I need. Any shares, any donations as always is extremely appreciated and really does mean a lot.

My dad phoned the RACC (Rapid Access Cardiac Clinic) today, to find out what shall be done on the day, and I'll be getting a Stress Test, ECG, ECHO & Cardiac Bloods done… hopefully it'll give me so info on what is going on with my heart 🤞🏼 I'm very nervous. 😥 I've also decided for those of you that come to my streams, whether gaming or art streams that I'll be doing no mic streams for a while, because talking is painful and has been for several weeks now and takes too much energy / too many spoons.

"Lost Me" for SKZMixtapeZine

I can finally share this!! I was so happy when I was told I got a place in the Zine, I'd never done one before and to be surrounded by such incredible artists was such an honour! I learnt so much painting this piece and I am truly thankful to all of those that organised it and put it together! Image Description and my thought process on my painting under the cut!

My Twitter | Instagram The song I got assigned was "Lost Me", which I think was my top choice if not one of my top 3. I was so happy to get this song - not only is The Sound one of my favourite Stray Kids Japanese albums, but I just absolutely love the emotions in this song. Changbin is one of my favourite song writers which is why he got to be the face of this painting. I listened to this song over and over again, I'm sure if it hadn't been for me listening to the First Take version mostly, my music app would have questioned whether I was okay or not haha. Changbin said in a Nylon interview that Lost Me was "a very sad song about wanting to be loved by the people around you that you lose sight of yourself" and that really stuck with me - I remembered the days I would go on late night walks, feeling so dissociated from myself because I was trying to keep people around that didn't like me for who I was but who they shaped me to be, the feeling of detachment from yourself that you get from that... at first I'd a different vision for this painting but eventually, it made me think of those double exposed photos that were distorted and blurry, that feel almost like a wrapped reality, that uneasiness that they hold... that's how this song makes me feel and so I tried to translate that into a painting.
