Have any Solavellan fans ever thought about what flowers best represent Solas? Or the couple in general? I was doing a bit of research for a commisson i've asked for, and also a possible tattoo, and I've decided that Hyacinths are a perfect fit.

Purple Hyacinths are associated with sorrow, regret and seeking forgiveness. Blue Hyacinths with deep love. They also represent new beginnings, as they bloom in Spring, after a period of being dormant.

Would love to hear people's ideas!

I like to imagine Solas and Lavellan finding a way to allow the Elvhen to live in the Fade like Lavellan does.

Thedas is a shitty place to be an elf. You are shunned by the Andrastian religion, humans treat you as an article of consumption to use and abuse as they like, and if you choose to live outside human society, you spend your life fighting for survival in remote locations.

I can't imagine Lavellan letting her people suffer for millennia while Solas and her calm the Blight. So I think they find a way to bring them behind the Veil, where they can live freely with the people they came from.

My petty heart also likes the idea that they reclaim the Golden City. Just like a last "fuck you" to the religion that made them believe, they deserved their own subjugation and erasure from history.

• Relationship Status: In a long term relationship, unmarried.

• Last Thing I Googled: Saltworks perfume. Has anyone tried these, can they recommend a scent?

• Looking Forward To: My holidays this year! Amsterdam, Italy and Rhodes. I never travel, but this year its happened all at once!

• Current Obsessions: My obsessions very rarely change. For years they've been Solavellan (From Dragon Age Inquisition), Good Omens and One Piece (I love Sanji!)

You can love a character and still admit when they’re wrong. I love Solas but can acknowledge his flaws (he has none) and can hold him accountable for his wrongdoings (he’s never done anything wrong in his life) and call him out for his actions (which are always correct).

Wondering if any lovely Solavellan fans can help me find a recent fanfiction? I'm an idiot and didn't save it properly 🙈

Basically, the Veil falls anyway when Solas and Lavellan enter, Solas' magic alone being too weak to keep it up. The two get sent back in time to Haven, to have another chance. (They both retain thier memories)

Solas realises where he is, and tries to reach Haven before they bring Lavellan back, offers his services as a healer. He meets Varric again, and has a panic attack due to grief and guilt.

Thanks in advance if anyone can remember this one too!
