Dante and Selena have children in the gameverse already, she had them right before DMC 2 or during.

Im not sure when in the Netflix adaptation but they will at some point. And yes also get married! ^^

Mhm, she would be 18.

Amd if there is an actual time skip due to what month it was she would be 19 after said time skip of 1 year.

I fixed the years better now. It helps a lot with my rp and AU set up so having it right means a lot to me.

In regards to your DMC games timeline post: DMC5 has to take place ten years after DMC1, because Patty is turning 18 in DMC5 and she was 8 during the events of The Animated Series which happened very shortly after DMC1. So DMC5 taking place almost 20 years after DMC1 wouldn't line up with that in mind. DMC1 most likely would be in 2001, give or take.

I actually got all of this from a post and just did math for years.

Said post, after i just double checked (which i should of done before commenting on your post i apologize. Using mobile hard sometimes.) This is the post i was using. I have a screenshot of it atm cause i use it in rps but ill get the original post and reblog it after.

She was 7 in the anime and during DMC 2, which this has it set with context from where it came from, as 11 years after.

Now i may have done years wrong on my post and need to fix it, ill check it. But this is where i got the age gap set ups.

DMC Gameverse timeline!

Have been doing math after finding out DMC 4 takes place in 2005 and since we know ages in that i could do math!

Dante and Vergil were born 1968

gonna go with September 2nd cause of Vergil's VA's birthday. Apparently a lot of ppl associate their bday with his.

DMC 3 takes place in 1987

DMC 1 takes place in 1996

DMC 2 takes place in 2000

DMC 4 takes place in 2005

DMC 5 takes place in 2010

My DMC AU

Selena is the daughter of Lucifer in both gameverse and Netflixverse.

Shes half angel/half human who has an angelic trigger instead kf a devil trigger. She ends up looking like a form of seraphim.

Gameverse:

- she grew up knowing and being friends with Dante and Vergil

- she thought they both died in the house fire, having seen the aftermath

- didnt start dating Dante till the 07 anime after coming back around after the events of DMC 3

- they have twins after DMC 2

Netflixverse:

- still figuring it out, but i love them.

My first attempt at Dante from the Netflix series, and well Dante in general.

I think it turned out ok!

I like how Dante screamed for Lady and Enzo with the same energy, and its the knowledge his brother might be alive after all this time, most likely carrying the guilt of not being strong enough to save Vergil, his brother, his twin, that lets him awaken Devil Trigger again. In Dante's words, its his rage and hatred, and I wonder if its specifically of the self loathing variety. It feels so...symbolic? Thematic? That such a human emotion gives his demon side strength because isn't that what Dante's been doing as a demon hunter? He's filled with rage because he cares. Sure he says he doesn't care but on some level he HAS to if he's doing it in the first place. He might not have had the full picture but he still decided to take such a dangerous job hunting monsters. Hell, maybe the wacky woohoo jokes started as a way to not think about dying on the job, and finding out he heals quickly just meant whatever can kill him is gonna give him hell, so why not piss it off instead of going out with a whimper?

I can still see this Dante getting hurt in fights. I don't think they've gotten anything to eat throughout this whole thing, its tense all around, and he had his guard down around Lady. He looked so hopeful too! They put my baby boi on ice!

Again as someone with only casual passing knowledge of the series, this was a fun ride! I can see it being a gateway for people to get into the games, and people who know the games can enjoy all the little references in a new spin on the story. Can't wait for season 2!
