i love when random tumblr users find my blog and go through it liking and reblogging everything in a frenzy, it feels like i’ve been cultivating a nice backyard with a lovely birdbath and feeder and i’ve glanced out the window to see a bird going absolutely wild with it

One thing I really hate is how often, when I talk about how I was a girl at one point and how that's a thing I like about myself and am proud of, someone takes it upon themselves to "correct" me and tell me I was "always" a man and that society had just "misled" me.
No. No. No.
I was a girl. I spent the majority of my childhood as a girl. I *liked* being a girl! It made me HAPPY. I WAS EXCITED FOR BOOBS *AND MY PERIOD*
I dont know why, at 16 (in 2008 with NO INTERACTION with trans men other than seeing one cute trans boy on Gaiaonline who I crushed on really hard) I woke up one day and my brain went "no. All of this is wrong. We aren't a girl. We shouldn't be in this body!!!!" And developed really severe dysphoria.
I have no idea why it happened and I spent nearly 12 years trying to pretend I didnt still feel that way... And I figure, 12 years is plenty of time to give my brain a chance to go "no, wait. Actually a girl, lol never mind!"
But it didn't.
Stop telling me I was ~always~ a boy and just didnt know it. Stop acting as if YOU are the authority on MY experiences.

“Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It’s not something you learn in school. But if you haven’t learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven’t learned anything.”

Who are we?
We are every action we have with people, we are the way we behave, we are what we feel. But at the end of the story we're just dust; The one that goes with the wind and sometimes leaves a mark and other times not.
