I was influenced into buying those silky crayons off the tiktok shop, even tho historically I've never been great with oil pastels 🤣 I drew one serious thing, ran out of energy, and filled up the rest of the page with cats.

My appointment was fucking cancelled. Surgeon had an emergency in the OR and had to cancel all her appointments for the rest of the day. They're gonna try to work me in on Monday since this is pretty urgent but I'm still pissed

Basically the bumper on my peg tube has worn a big sore into my skin. It's basically a gross crater now. Been cleaning it and changing the bandage every day but there's nothing I can do for it at this point except keep it clean.

Worst part is the last time I was in the hospital, when it was still just a small sore, I brought it up multiple times to several people. All they did was wedge a piece of gauze under the bumper. Which, the gauze never stayed in place under the bumper so it never actually helped. Still doesn't. So I have a hole now and since I just finished cancer treatment it's not healing at all.

Another hospital stay is coming up this week. I'm about to tell them to just take the damn feeding tube out and load me up on pain meds and I'll eat by mouth again bc this fucker has been nothing but pain and problems since I got it. Hurts so bad I can barely move. I spend most days laying in bed trying not to move and watching tiktoks and YouTube videos. I have an appointment with a gi surgeon Friday but idk if I can make it til then... may end up in the er after all

Health update

I have 3 radiation sessions left to go. It’s been a long 7 weeks. I was in the hospital again last week bc my peg tube got infected

I’ll probably have chemo for a little bit longer, but I’m hoping I’ll start getting some energy back in the next couple of weeks. I’m so weak and tired right now, I’ve barely drawn anything the past few weeks.

I have a long recovery ahead of me but finally the end is in sight.

Transformers: Mercy is launching its first GOFUNDME! It has a larger goal of $10 000 CAD and I hope we can get some momentum for it. Every little bit helps though! I haven't been making a lot of money irl lately but I'm still trying to keep the art scenes flowing to make this game possible! I'll make a YouTube announcement later, just getting this started.

Until now, this story game has been funded entirely out of pocket and from the donations of kind supporters. Oh yeah, I never posted a health update here

Shit went downhill real fast. Along with already having almost no energy my mouth and throat feel so awful that I wasn't able to really eat anything. I've lost 15 pounds in two weeks which is not good.

I got a feeding tube put in last night. One that goes directly into my stomach surgically. Im at the hospital still, and probably will be a couple more days.

Im hoping getting some food in me will help with my energy levels too.

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.
