So what was the point of this Ficino guy? Because I'm pretty sure that they never reached that perfect form of Christianity that can't be argued against, if that were the case we would be all Christians. They never reached an endpoint.

Okay okay so this whole thing about trying to make a logically irrefutable form of Christianity happened because the church kept making Jews and Muslims "defend" their religion in the form of debates. Like "You're going to debate what's better, Christianity or your shit, but you're only allowed to cite the bible." It was a loaded game.

Thing is, every once in a while, a Jew or a Muslim would actually WIN the debate, which was obviously pretty embarrassing for the church.

The Churches response was eventually "Why are we even doing this. We should stop holding the debates." But Christian occultists like Ficino wanted to press on. They found the refutability of Christianity to be a sort of fundamental spiritual weakness that could potentially be rectified.
