Afterlife of my collection
All materials used in the collection are 100% recycled from either fabric I already have or up cycled garments. With that being said I am already in that sense giving my material an afterlife. However this is not enough for me since I believe sustainability is crucial in the way we design garments. Therefor I have a few addition sustainable aspects for the afterlife of my looks. - I have save all scrap pieces of 3D filament this whole semester in order to later recycle it and make new filament out of. - All garments are sewn in a patchwork technique, meaning that they can be altered after different people, both adding pieces to make it larger or taking away pieces to make it smaller. Therefor each garment have a long durability and usability. - When the garments start to disintegrate in the future, it is possible for most garments to separate the 3D printing from the fabric and after that recycle the two components separately. https://www.close-the-loop.be/en/phase/3/end-of-life#tab-27

Final collection movie
I am very proud over the end products and that I managed to create such awesome photos and videos together with my team. This collection and project really represent me as a designer and what I stand for, Textile innovation, sustainability and using fashion to do good.

Textile / Teaser video
The purpose of this video is to intrigue, inspire and make people interested in wanting to see more of my collection and project. I did not want to show the full designs, instead I want to show the process as well as showcasing the textiles as if they were small sea creatures. The video will be posted on Instagram three days before I release the collection.

Process videos magically reappeared!
I had a feeling that I should look again on the SD card for my camera and just because I had iMovie open it asked me if I want to import all content and all of a sudden I saw all my lost process videos! I am so so so happy to have them back since I really need them for my textile video.

New lineup, not fully edited sketches
Very happy with how the new and expanded lineup looks! I now understand why the teachers said I needed to have 15 looks in order for my collection to look complete. This really shows how the different 3D printing techniques can be used and applied in different ways, especially if working with a bigger 3D printer. Hopefully one day I will be able to play around with a big printer to test making similar textiles manipulations as in my lineup.

Lost all sketches and process videos.......
Yesterday something happened that just can't happen a week before your final Assessment... I accidentally without knowing it deleted my whole graduation folder from my computer which contained all my sketched, process videos etc... I am working together with a computer specialist at the moment to try and retrieve my deleted files, hopefully it will work! Luckily everything from the photoshoots were saved on my hard drive!

Images from my underwater camera
I bought a underwater case for my digital camera so that I could take some underwater effect images on the beach. I was a bit worried that it wouldn't work but it really did work out great! The trick was to not submerge the whole case under the water but just to cover the lens.
