Cargo I love you don’t go
I wanted to find the Tokyo palette and right now you can’t find Cargo in store. The Kohl’s by me clearance it out and the website did too. I went by chance and at least I got 2 bronzers and blush on an insane deal. I got the standard swimable bronzer, a matte one and a blush in Tonga.
I’m grateful to get a deal but also bitter that there was a finger print in the pan on one. I am also bitter…

I’m still mad
I’m still hooked on Mad Hippie so I got the Vitamin A serum. There is no claims on the strength and it’s middle of the road on the inky list so I’d like to think it’s on a mild level. There are some great ingredients and seem to be well balanced. I randomly got this one standing at the check out at Ulta with all those stands of products to stare at while you wait in a line of entirety.
I’m happy…

Why You Mad?
Mad Hippie is a new brand to me and found out from Stephanie Nicole. I looked up that Fresh Thyme carries the brand. If you’re not familiar with them they’re similar to Whole Foods.
I originally wanted to get the cleansing oil but wasn’t available so I got the exfoliating serum so it wasn’t a waste of a trip.
This is a blend of Glycolic and Lactic acid if you are sensitive or new to acids it…

Jo Malone we know her
I’ve had a rough week and treated myself to a nice candle…not an excuse I’d still buy nice candles but a rough week needed more tlc.
English Pear and Freesia is a scent I love the smell of but not wear. I find with Jo I love the fragrance for home or body but not mesh. I love the light uplifting effect and it casts the scent so I don’t have to burn her too much to get the nice atmosphere.
If you…

Living Proof and Dermalogica
Living Proof and Dermalogica
Another random post but they have a common thread for me….meh.
These brands have a cult following and are more premium pricing. I have high expectations regarding certain items in their use and they’re ok but not for the value.
Living Proof Prime Style Extender: I do try to be fair and I haven’t found a product in the brand is live and breathe and I’m a professional so I purchased them at cost…

Jane Scrivner And Josh Rosebrook
Jane Scrivner And Josh Rosebrook
My skincare mom, Caroline Hirons got me turned on to both J’s. I don’t actually know her we’ve conversed on social media a few times. I love her advice and her attitude reminds of my mom (it’s not creepy is it?)
I’m glad she puts links on the posts because I wasn’t familiar with Beauty Heroes and they carry so many brands and got 10% off first order. I try to order directly from indie brands but…

Elemis Pro Collagen Balm
Elemis Pro Collagen Balm
This isn’t a new splash to the market but I always like to try out products that have a cult following to see if I get the hype.
I jumped on the bandwagon for sure. The balm has a great texture and melts well. You don’t have to spend a ton of time to warm it up and spread on your face and zap makeup is gone.
The scent reminds me of Organic Pharmacy Carrot Butter Balm which is super soothing but…

What a Difference May Makes
What a Difference May Makes
If you aren’t familiar with May Lindstom her range is a clean eco friendly brand that is hand made with love and harmony. I got Blue Cocoon first from Caroline Hirons recommendation and it’s everything and more. I have literally used everything in the range. The Pendulum Potion is newer and I finally order it.
If you love an oil based cleanser cause you’re dry or don’t like a foam you will love…

Pixi and Target Surprised
Pixi and Target Surprised
Raise your hand if you have ever gone into Target and not got something! I didn’t think so. I went to look for some Pixi and looking online it said my local target didn’t have the majority but I still went and my tenacity paid off.
I got Lip Lift Max which is a staple and not just a beauty product. Guys actually like to have nice lips not cracked or dry. If this didn’t come as a gloss I’d guess…

Oribe Damage Drops
I don’t have the most damaged hair but I wore my hair platinum blonde for 10 years so I can relate. I stopped doing chemical bleach or color just from laziness that was until grey popped up and was blending it. I was in my 20s at the time and not ready to face that.
The drops are nice in that it’s not weight heavy greasy like a lot of treatments. If you are seriously damaged I wouldn’t start here…

Darling Charlotte Darling.
She’s know for dropping the D word like a Tallulah Bankhead. Darling and both of them throw delivery into it.
Just like Charlotte to deliver and leave with confidence.
I’m late to the game but the line just came to my Nordstrom in the motor city. I am being more cautious of things I can’t get from the store rather than rolling the dice with that being said I love it I dig it. If you are not on…

Kiss Me Kate Somerville
Kiss Me Kate Somerville
I’ve mentioned my trustworthiness of Caroline Hirons and she loves her mate Kate. I was rewatching her overview of the brand and ironically Ulta had a gwp for Kate Somerville. I’ve used the exfoliating cream and others but got Nourish cause I haven’t used any moisturizer from her. I figured her science savvy I was saving my money for the treatment products.
This is by far a wonderful wet…

BioEffect EGF
I’ve been intrigued by EGF for a bit but it’s not the most affordable thing. I believe down the road it might be just like anything else once popularity rises. This is a two part system the first part has the EGF (which is derived from barley to replicate how the cell in skin generate)
The second part that is the 2A is more syrup in consistency versus more wet to the first.
I do get annoyed but…

Clinique C me cleanse by Caroline
Clinique C me cleanse by Caroline
I have enjoyed most of Clinique for years and I have stalled to get the Vitamin C products and rewatching a Caroline Hirons video made me think of it and Ulta had an offer of products with Clinique purchase. What a coincidence but nothing is with Caroline, she’s is a mystical unicorn of skincare. I can’t explain it how she does but she has video proof of the quality of the Vitamin C range and…

New infatuations and my old tramp
New infatuations and my old tramp
Random purchase on Ulta (there was a gift and I had points to keep the government open). I really wanted to try the Bumble and Bumble scalp detox. I’m a huge fan of the brand and I rarely hesitate to buy their product.
Rituals I love all the body products it’s the scents that factor to each person. I thought it seem silly to have a foam shower gel but it makes it so much more luxurious and it’s…

Sephora picky choosy
I grabbed a random few things from Sephora mostly cause I knew they’d be there and I didn’t have to make trips
Fresh: Sugar Lemon body lotion. Caroline Hirons would throw herself on a pile of these if they were to be set on fire…maybe not seriously but she uses hyperbole and I do too. This is NOT just so pleasant and sweet smelling it has the most creamy texture that soaks in and leaves no…

Omorovicza a love story I'm not biased and I use all skincare from drugstore to high end. My forte steeped years ago when Ruth Crilly (A model recommends) talked about this brand.
