jujutsu kaisen revival omfg back to the depths again! this time i feel like I’ve matured more compared to when I first started reading the manga teehee (as one should over the span of five years?) . i definitely understand where gojo stands—in terms of his youth—better now . i have none to say about the others yet because i havent fully restored my memory or re-read and finished the manga . :( just wanted to yap and say that if i were in satoru's position i would most likely harbor the same feelings he does.! it is kind of crazy to think that some of the most pivotal events were caused by friends long lost to the past. and given how important of a figure he is in the verse, you'd think satoru would have exercised a greater sense of responsibility in situations involving the said friends. lol.! but ive always seen satoru as an emotional character, very expressive! the world building doesn't really offer any aid or space for them to healthily manage and heal their trauma or their big big big feelings anyway . i've experienced loss of friends that caused me to completely stray away from the "real" me as corny as it sounds. so to lose a suguru in my life ? gahaha while witnessing so many deaths , the higher ups , etc. i think i would constantly be in an emotional turmoil . i like to think satoru had a decent childhood (official art:going out with friends) but with the timeline in my head rn i believe he wasnt able to enjoy it as much in the end. reason why he's so hung up on yuji enjoying his youth. ANYWAY if my friends fucking died rn knock on wood i too would crash out until i'm past 30 . realistically speaking, if i was on a highway and i saw a close friend of mine standing in the distance, i would cause a traffic by coming to a full stop in the middle of the road and desperately running towards them. not to mention satoru (mostly everyone left alive) was left with so much unanswered questions ?!? if i carried that amount of weight on my shoulders with no closure , best believe i'm performing high tier parkour just to get to that silhouette of a close friend . im taking all the chances just to experiences happy memories with them all over again .
