What a beautiful way to end the week. After spending 11 days traveling the world together, doing all sorts of romantic, couple-y things, they wrapped it all up with the softest, sweetest note. The kind of softness only they could bring.

Highlights of the day:

1) Jimin, Jungkook, and Yoongi pulled up to Jin’s concert in the same car.

2) Yoongi, clearly realizing what he signed up for, dipped first and headed inside solo. Meanwhile, Jimin and Jungkook took their sweet time walking in, side by side

3) Jungkook was seen whispering to Jimin while Yoongi trailed behind like the official third wheel. My Yoongi 💜 Honestly, after today, Yoongi might think twice before agreeing to hang out with these two again

Must Be Fan Service Because God Forbid It's Just Genuine

I just watched that video of Jimin and Jungkook watching the sunrise. In the video you can see that Jungkook was gently holding onto Jimin’s arm or waist as they stood there, quietly taking in the view. Then Jimin turns to say something and immediately Jungkook glances towards the camera of the op filming them from afar and subtly lets go. Because he suddenly became aware of being filmed.

1) It reminded me of that car moment. The one where Jungkook leaning on Jimin’s shoulder while Jimin was taking a selfie. But the second they noticed they were being recorded, Jimin pauses for a moment. I could clearly sense that his mind was working to come up with an excuse. He quickly comes up with "This is how we take selfies for Twitter" and Jungkook too pulls away fast when he too realizes there's a camera. Only… they never posted that selfie

2) It also reminded me of that moment at Hoseok's Jack in the Box listening party. Jimin and Jungkook tucked away together in a quiet, dimly lit corner. Jungkook’s hand was resting so gently on Jimin’s. They were there existing in their own little bubble and enjoying the moment with their favorite person. But then a camera moves in, and in an instant, Jungkook pulls his hand back and looks away

3) Or that other moment, Jikook sitting together in a completely separate room, away from the other members and staff. Both of their shirts slightly unbuttoned, Jimin’s arm draped over Jungkook’s shoulders. Clearly having a private moment. Then Taehyung walks in with the camera crew to hand Jimin a gift, and suddenly the mood shifts. Jungkook glances at the camera and his expression says everything. It's that flicker of surprise and discomfort like their quiet little space had been interrupted. Another one of those moments that feels intimate until the world suddenly steps in

5) We have all watched the 2019 New Jersey live haven't we? The one where Jungkook started the live with no intention of showing us that Jimin was in that room with him but felt the need to show him once Jimin sneezed and he thought that we all heard it too. You can clearly see the shift after that moment. Jungkook low key stopped functioning. And there's Jimin trying to get Jungkook to act normal.

There's one thing that ties all these moments together. Every time a camera catches them in a quiet, intimate space, they immediately pull back. It’s almost reflexive. A touch disappears, a gaze shifts, the closeness disappears, they avoid eye contact with the cam and suddenly there’s an excuse. Something light, something casual like tossing out a playful line to brush past the moment.

But my question is if all of this is just fan service, then why do they pull away the moment they realize they’re being filmed? Isn’t fan service supposed to play into the camera, not retreat from it? Isn't it meant to be performative, exaggerated for the camera?

And who is this supposed fan service even aimed at? The majority of ARMYs who avoid Jikook like it’s a taboo topic? The solos who threaten to unstan the very idols they claim to love and support the moment they don’t fit the image they’ve built in their heads? Or other shippers who insist Jikook takes up “too much space,” in contents like their bond is somehow overshadowing every other ships?

And if this is fan service, then what exactly are the other members doing? Let’s start with Namjoon. Namjoon, who’s always on high alert whenever Jikook are near each other like he’s their unofficial chaperone. Half the time he turns into the Great Wall of China, literally positioning himself between them like a buffer, just to make sure they “behave.” You can’t make this up.

Then we have Hoseok spilling the beans more times than we can count. And Taehyung? He’s had his fair share of moments too. Like that time he mentioned Jungkook was stopping Jimin from joining his live at 1am because they were together. Or that 2021 live where he straight-up said he thought Jimin’s room was Jungkook’s. Or when during the behinds of Dynamite, Jungkook was so lost staring at Jimin that Taehyung had to tap his chest and point out the cam to him like saying "Bro that's the camera, look there. You can ogle him all you want when this shoot ends. Okay?"

So let me get this straight. The company apparently tells Namjoon, “Hey, whenever Jikook are together, act like you're on high alert. Be the bodyguard. Step in like a human firewall.”

Meanwhile, Hoseok’s handed a script: “Make it look like you’re spilling Jikook secrets. But make it feel organic. Like a ‘oops I said too much but I'm enjoying the chaos' vibe".

Taehyung? Oh, he gets the elite fan service role, “Interrupt Jikook moments at just the right time. Act like you’re exposing them, but in a way that still leaves people guessing. Controlled chaos, but make it cute.”

And then there’s Seokjin, who called Jimin on live twice and both times, Jungkook was there with him.

So if this is fan service then BH/Hybe probably pulled Jin aside like, “Hey, make sure you call Jimin during your live. Oh, and Jungkook should be with him, just casually hanging out, so it looks like they’re always together. Very natural. Perfect fan service.”

Because yeah, that’s totally how real life works. Just schedule out spontaneous moments for the sake of a ship.

But sure if this is all fan service, then what, are we supposed to believe they all sit down together and script this out? Like “Okay Yoongi, in this scene, you mock Jimin, and Jungkook, you swoop in to defend him and make him feel loved. Perfect. Fan service, nailed.”

Honestly, what a flawless operation. Totally believable. Just a bunch of grown men running a long-term, unscripted reality drama, for fan service. All coordinated, perfectly timed, emotionally nuanced… and somehow still subtle and very natural enough to make it look real. Absolutely foolproof. Bravo.

Oh, and how could I possibly forget??!! Bam is clearly in on the fan service too! Obviously, the company reached out to the training center like, “Hi, yes, could you please flash a photo of Jimin repeatedly during Bam’s sessions? We need him to associate Jimin with positive reinforcement, so it looks like they’re super close like he's his other parent. Very important for the fan service agenda.”

And of course, let’s rope in the entire family while we’re at it. Jungkook’s brother? Totally on it. Probably told to post certain things to stir the pot. His mom? Handed a role, "Make sure you act warm and familiar with Jimin". Jimin’s dad? Absolutely part of the operation. Probably had a meeting in the company with the top level management.

Honestly, it's a full-blown production at this point. Who knew fan service came with this level of commitment, a dog with actor training, and a cast of extended family members? And make it a multi year slow burn plot! Truly, Oscar-worthy.

Is that really how people think this works?

If people genuinely believe this is how fan service works, then wow clearly you’ve never seen actual fan service before. And someone needs to tell Jikook that their fan service isn't very good since they keep stopping everytime they notice a camera.

None of the members have the time or energy to sit around a table reading out fake ship scripts and rehearsing scenes like it’s a drama club, all while juggling world tours, group projects, solo projects, and actual careers. So you're saying Jimin is the giver? Well, let's see. We have seen him kiss Jungkook's neck several times. But here's the real kicker, the two times Jungkook was undeniably spotting hickeys it was Jungkook himself who pointed it out. So, it is more like Jungkook loves to draw attention to the fact that Jimin leaves marks on his body.

The first time we saw a hickey on Jungkook was in that car pic, back in December 2016. And get this: he was the one who posted it. We wouldn't have known about this otherwise.

Back to the pic, Jungkook's sitting there with a dazed, sultry expression, and boom, a very obvious hickey on his neck.

And here’s where it gets even more interesting. Remember that Dec 2016 Jinjikook VLive? Toward the end, Jimin asks if he can leave to go to his room with the phone while still on live but Jin says no since he borrowed that phone for that particular live. You can actually see Jimin seriously contemplating running off with it anyway. And you can see how Jungkook pulls out his own phone already anticipating what Jimin's gonna do.

Jimin tries to bolt, but Jungkook holds him back by the waist. And here’s the hilarious part, Jimin turns around and asks Jin why he’s holding him back, even though he clearly knows it’s Jungkook. Yeah, Jimin let's make it more obvious with you acting oblivious.

At that point, do we need to guess who gave him that hickey? The way Jungkook used that pic to make Jimin stay and the way Jimin instantly backed down? That pic said everything.

The second time Jungkook was spotted with a hickey, he didn't want to play the code game anymore. So, he flat-out said who gave it to him. If he didn’t want us to know, he easily could’ve covered it up, brushed it off as a mosquito bite, or joked it away. But no, that’s not what he wanted.

I'm aware that Jimin went through his appendix surgery. The surgery was on Jan 31st and this concert was on April. This dark patch in the pic spans a wider area than a surgery scar. It looks more diffuse and not linear or surgical in shape. It also sits a bit higher on the waist than where a appendix incision scar is to be expected. This is my own conclusion. The 2019 concerts gave us so many memorable Jikook moments, but the last three nights in Seoul felt different. It was more intimate, more vulnerable, more real. It was about truth. Their truth. Jimin and Jungkook didn’t just perform, they spoke with their actions, their eyes, their presence beside each other. They embodied the very heart of Speak Yourself, choosing to express not just who they are individually, but what they mean to each other.

There was a raw sincerity in the way they looked at one another, stood close without hesitation, and allowed their bond to shine without filters. It felt like a silent confession played out over three nights. A declaration that said, “This is us. This is our story. This is the person I love.” They’ve always been honest with us in their own quiet way, and in Seoul, they let the truth be seen and felt. Right there, in plain sight, for anyone ready to understand.

The Seoul concerts were held on October 26th, 27th and 29th 2019. And here's a sweet detail: Jungkook's parents attended the last Seoul SYS concert.

Before diving into TTU, let me do a quick run down of the other special moments on these three nights.

(I couldn't find the individual videos for the moments I wanna talk about so I have linked various videos and mentioned the time stamps for that particular moment)

1) At 00:33 of the above video, Jungkook says "I think I have confirmed the love today,” then turns to Jimin and locks eyes with him. Jimin pauses mid-thought, smiles, and then asks, “What do you think of ARMY’s love today?” Jungkook pauses for a moment thinking and is about to answer but Yoongi cuts in right at that moment. Maybe Yoongi felt things were getting a little too charged with how Jikook were acting so he stepped in to diffuse the moment.

2) The next moment is from Make It Right. At 1:14 of the above video, Jimin sings “Nothing mattered” and then turns to Jungkook, holding eye contact and points at him as he sings “Nothing but you.” You can see Jungkook mouthing the same words right back at Jimin. It was such a tender and intimate moment. Like a moment meant only for them.

3) The next moment is from Run (07:00 of the above video). The closeness, flirting and familiarity is just...

4) Jungkook (singing): All this is no coincidence

Here, Jungkook reached into Jimin’s blazer, holding onto his waist for a second, but then he pulled back, settling for the blazer instead. Maybe he realized they were already toeing the line, too close, too intense and that eye contact wasn't helping. Anything more would have been too much to handle out in the open and would've said everything they weren't trying to say out loud.

5) The next moment is when they're performing Boy With Luv (2:14 of the above video). At the end of Boy With Luv, the lights go out with Jimin and Jungkook standing apart but when the lights come back on, surprise! They’ve somehow ended up right next to each other, like magnets that couldn’t stay away. Their heads pressed together with the rose still in Jungkook's mouth. Coincidence? Or just a little magic from two people who know exactly where they want to be.

But during the final three nights in Seoul there’s a special moment that only happens between Jimin and Jungkook. At the end, Jimin slowly turns to face Jungkook, and they hold each other’s gaze as they sing “But I still want you” together. Even as the lights fade they don't look away, creating a private, meaningful moment that only they share amidst the rest of the unchanged performance.

This was a quiet but powerful change. The change from “And I still want you” to “But I still want you” especially when sung together by Jimin and Jungkook while looking into each other’s eyes, carries a profound emotional weight especially in the context of a song like The Truth Untold, which is about hiding one’s true self behind a mask out of fear and shame.

The word “and” in the original line feels passive, resigned. “And I still want you” reads like a quiet continuation of sorrow, a longing that persists in silence, without hope or change. It fits the narrative of the masked character who watches from afar, unable to step forward, too afraid to be seen for who he really is.

But changing that one word to "But" shifts everything.

“But i still want you” introduces resistance. It carries a sense of conflict. In spite of everything, despite the fear, despite the mask, despite the impossibility… I still want you. It’s no longer just longing. Its longing that fights through obstacles. It implies a conscious choice. It's them pushing the boundaries and choosing each other no matter what.

Coming from Jimin and Jungkook, two people in a closeted relationship, the change feels deeply symbolic. It’s not just lyrical or performative. It reflects something emotional and real. In a song about hiding, their shared gaze and the change in that final line feel like a moment of quiet rebellion. It’s like they’re saying "We're still here and we still want each other, even though we can’t say it out loud.

That one word—but—carries all the weight of what remains unspoken. It transforms the ending from silent ache to quiet courage. It’s the difference between longing in secret and choosing to love in spite of secrecy.

For fans who have followed them closely, who understand the weight of subtle gestures in a relationship that's never been publicly acknowledged, this change hits like a confession. Not loud. But real.

2019 was undeniably Jikook’s year, and the Seoul final was the peak of it all. From room sharing confirmations and the Magic Shop VCR to LA date nights, car rides, and flirty moments during BWL era, their bond was constantly on display. We saw Jungkook telling Jimin “I love you” on stage and also hand signing it to him in front of all those cameras and people. How can we forget the iconic RB moment??!! Their hangouts in London with Jimin's friends, their unwavering presence at each other's individual practice stages and visiting other member's shooting sets together showed us they were constantly together off cam. From Jimin flying in just for Jungkook's birthday, Jungkook deciding to place that J right on top of the M so that his hand tattoos read as ARMY and JM to anyone who looked at it, bringing him snow from a mountain to love letter styled birthday posts, every moment built up to something beautiful. The Seoul concerts were simply the grand finale to a year full of love.

And all of this stirred up the antis, leading them to email BigHit with fan service accusations aimed at Jimin and Jungkook. But none of it fazed them. Despite being a closeted couple, they never backed down from showing their love, they continued to stand by each other, steadfast , unbothered and deeply connected.

The Seoul final marked their second concert after the September break and we all know the weight that time carried. But through it all, their bond shone even brighter, louder than any whispers or made up rumors. It made me think, could this be why they changed the lyrics in TTU during the last three concerts? In line with their tour’s title Speak Yourself, Jimin and Jungkook laid bare their hearts telling their story through that one word change, "And I still want you" to "But I still want you" while holding intense eye contact. It was their way of saying that no matter the struggles, they will always choose each other because what they have is too rare, too deep, too beautiful to ever let go.

The lyrics of Serendipity really resonate with me when I think about Jikook. Especially these lines:

All this is no coincidence

Maybe it's the providence of the universe

The universe has moved for us

Our happiness was meant to be

Everything was destined

There's a theory that this song was inspired by their relationship. No wonder Jimin and Jungkook are always laying claiming over the lyrics "You're me, I'm you".

The change in TTU also felt like their way of speaking to those who’ve followed their journey, who’ve believed in them and stood by them. Through that small but meaningful change, they were saying "We're okay. We have each other and we are never letting go". It was a message of reassurance, a silent vow that their love remains unshaken, no matter the forces trying to tear it down. I’ve always felt that Jimin and Jungkook use gestures and subtle signs to tell their truth. Not because they don’t want to speak it out loud but because they can’t. Speaking of the White Day, Silver Day, Valentines posts made by Jikook, discussion. Did you notice Jimin posted this very "BF" looking picture of him and JK on Sept 18th, before their flight, which happens to be First Love Day.

I'm not saying Jimin knew what the date actually was when he posted it, of course. Then again, Jimin is super smart. I don't know for sure if Jimin posted this pic because it was First Love Day, but he’s clever and the type to notice things like that. Maybe he checked the date, saw what day it was and wanted to quietly mark it with a pic of him and his bf, who is also his first love. Let's be real, that was unmistakably a romantic couple pic. And just in case anyone forgot, they arrived at the airport together too.

Since we are on the topic of selcas, this feels like the perfect time to share a few Jikook selcas that are iconic due to the context behind them. (I'm posting only those which I haven't talked about before).

1) Let’s start with the most legendary one

Jikook posting these selcas when “hickey” was trending. This came right after their BTB episode aired, where we got a bold little reveal: Jimin gave Jungkook a hickey, and Jungkook? He proudly flaunted it, zero effort to hide it. Then, as the fandom spiraled and “hickey” trended, they dropped selcas like it was no big deal. The timing? Impeccable. The attitude? Wild. Unbothered. Completely unapologetic. Jikook said, “We see you and we’re feeding the fire.”

2) This one’s extra special. It's an anniversary selca!

Their very first selca together was posted on April 19 2013. Fast forward to 2022, and the first Jikook selca of that year was shared on the same date: April 19. From their very first moment captured together to this gentle, full-circle echo—it's subtle, sweet, and undeniably romantic. Some things are really written in the stars.

3) Next up, the holy trinity of selcas—you know the ones 🤭

A few hours later Jungkook went live, watched Jimin videos and talked about their rainy day fight. And those who have noticed know that a lot of the emotions Jungkook captured in Still With You was born out of Jikook's rainy day fight.

Jungkook popped into a jikook fan cafe gc and this was his reaction when Jimin's selca dropped. Totally real, totally extra and totally adorable.

But I think you meant that ‘who is my heart waiting for’ had a question mark in some timestamps and not in others you quoted above? Is that it? For me though, the CC subs showed it without a question mark throughout the song.

Now onto the second part of the ask, you're right! I agree!!!

At the 2:10 mark, when Jimin sings 'who is my heart waiting for,' you can see all the dancers—both male and female—walk away, while Jimin moves toward the screen. A board then falls onto his path, like an answer to his question.

On the board, we notice three things. The upper part of a person’s face, the words 'keep going,' and 'Who.'

Throughout the song, Jimin sings about finding a woman but the face on that board is unmistakably, undeniably that of a man. It’s plain, clear, and simple. And Jimin didn’t make it hard for us to figure out who it is either. It’s the eyes that give him away—Jungkook’s most striking feature. Those wide, doe eyes that stand out even in a crowd, even when he’s completely covered sans a sunglass. That’s the giveaway. And Jimin made sure we caught the message when he chose to show those exact eyes on the board, didn’t he?

The 'Who' on the board, placed right next to the face, works like an arrow or a pointer—as if saying, "This is the person in question", just in case it wasn’t already clear.

Now moving on to 'Keep going.' Be honest, who pops into your mind when you hear that? For me, it's always Jimin. Like clockwork, there's this automatic voice in my head every time I hear those words. It goes like this:

The song goes on, and as 'rewind' appears on the screen, he sings, "Who is my heart waiting for?" Is he asking us to rewind to find the answer to his question? Because when the footage plays back, the person on the board becomes the quiet answer to his question—revealed through the rewind.

And now to talk about LP. From a music point of view LP is the short form for Long Play. It refers to a full length album as opposed to EP (Extended Play) which is shorter.

Now let's infuse "Who is my heart waiting for" in the context of an LP.

While I’m at it, I want to touch on something else. I’ve got a few asks about whether the sexy choreo in the MV symbolizes Jimin’s experiences with women, specifically, in a sexual sense.

This is my own opinion based on his own words and what I’ve come to understand over time.

I truly believe Jimin’s first serious relationship has been with Jungkook. He moved to Seoul in May 2012 at just 16. He only had six months to train before debut. His focus back then was razor-sharp—his only goal was to chase his dream, debut, and build a career.

We’ve seen how intense he gets when he sets his mind to something—just look at how he poured himself into his solo album. Remember when Jimin said in an interview that he was so determined to succeed, even if it was not with BTS? He was referring to his trainee days because he was always on the edge of getting eliminated.

Dating, whether casual or serious, just didn’t seem to be part of his world back then. And with the way he was sacrificing sleep (he said he only slept for 2.5 hours), going on dates probably wasn’t even a possibility.

I remember him once saying that in high school, he had a crush on a girl and that he wanted to talk to her but he got so nervous he started sweating and couldn’t get a single word out. This is also something he said:

He said this in 2014. This is not something a guy would say if he's had lots of dating/sexual experience.

Also, Namjoon and Hoseok named Jimin as the member who was the most innocent when it came to dating. This was in a radio interview from 2014.

He himself said that the macho guy image he had in front of the cam was because of the role assigned to him.

Even after he debuted I don't think he had the time to go out and meet new people even if he wanted to. Jimin and Jungkook themselves have said how both of them used to lay a blanket outside and sleep there while other members slept in their own beds. This is because they wanted to get up early for practice. Their schedules were very hectic like that and on top of that they both are perfectionists who set high goals and expectations for themselves.

Also, probably by this time he started catching feelings for Jungkook.
