Welcome to the jinkling forest!
"the... what?" (-you, probably.)
Greetings newcommers and other folks! I am not quite aware as to why i had created this blog as i do not intend to use it much, however I still plan to make it a thing in the nigh future.
This blog is for posting photos of jinklings, made by the blog-runner or submitted by any individual that may be scourching through the realms of the 'net. Before i continue, I may need to elaborate on one thing;
What, exactly, is a 'jinkling'?
Well, I don't have an extra solid definition of it. Basically, while the word has been used a bit in the past, I also view it as a word i simply made myself on accident.
A jinkling is a creation, a creature made by someone that takes pleasure in creation. Made from elements coming from nature, or borrowed from streets and other public places, or just made by something really cheap and practical, a jinkling can be a friend. It is more oftenly created by wood and general wooden or natural materials, it can look 'goofy' or simply 'quirky', usually made by solid, hard material (separating it from plushies). It can be viewed as a friend, toy, decoration or whatever else you had in mind. The general concept is that it's cheap, usually a bit smaller, and formed with an individual's own creativity.
I'm afraid my descriptions of what I view a jinkling as are horrid, so for references I suggest you look through my blog and see the jinklings I have created so far for yourself.
but yeah- Jinklings can be many things, whatever you desire them to be, in fact! They can be characters with backstories, friends, families- whatever! Keep it fun n' free, I say. When you submit a jinkling, you can tell me anything about them- if there is anything to be told about them in the first place. I'd love to hear it!
If you have a jinkling to submit, you can either send an ask or use the submit button, or whatever other way you come up with, either way is fine.
You can also request a specific jinkling to be created, if your heart so desires. The jinkling fam is always open to more members!
