Sometimes, I just think about the pure audacity of the Young Avengers. Like, I remember the first volume of the story where they helped the Avengers defeat Kang, then the Avengers gave them the "reckless and irresponsible" lecture, telling them to "never put on those costumes again" under threat of telling their parents.

So, what did the Young Avengers do, you ask? Did they give up on being superheroes? Did they defy the orders of the Avengers despite the consequences?

No, no, no. For, you see, the Young Avengers decided to go out and get new costumes. Because the Avengers only said anything about the old costumes.

Of course, because the Avengers didn't anticipate this turn of events, they got mad and told the YA's parents anyway.

TL;DR the Young Avengers are crafty little fucks and the Avengers don't appreciate that.
