I’m convinced some of you guys did not pass 4th grade. How the fuck do you keep missing the entire point of my post. You’re literally doing the exact thing I posted about.

People do hold Mel, Jayce, and Heimer accountable for their negligence. I’ve even seen Mel’s OWN FANS acknowledge the bad things she’s done. And yes, some fans do ignore the bad actions of their favorite characters, but we’re talking about Caitlyn right now.

The moment Caitlyn gets called out for her actions, you guys immediately defend her and downplay what she's done. The reality is that Caitlyn gets more criticism than the others you mentioned because she’s a fucking cop involved in serious abuses of power. She has participated in and allowed acts of police brutality, committed war crimes, and even declared martial.

And yet, the show wants us to feel bad for her.

Unlike the other villainous characters, Silco, Marcus, Ambessa, and Viktor who faced consequences for their actions, Caitlyn escapes any real accountability and is even portrayed as a hero for cleaning up the mess she made.

Maybe you should THINK for a few seconds about why she’s “overly hated” before mindlessly defending her.

It’s crazy how some Caitlyn stans will bring up other characters when she faces criticism like those characters aren’t the way they are because of opressers like her.

Since I like to suffer:

We all saw what Jinx went through when Singed saved her life with Shimmer. It clearly caused horrific physical pain and psychological torment. Vi took one sip of Shimmer and screamed in either physical, emotional, or mixed agony.

Imagine what Silco went through, in order for Singed to save his life after his bloodstream (and lungs, and eye cavity which is directly connected to the brain btw) got filled with toxic chemicals and bacteria. After he'd already gone through such hell, having someone he loved and trusted strangle and drown him, after enforcers ripped off half his face and his eyelid, after losing his friends, he got presumably strapped down and tortured even more, pumped full of prototype Shimmer that probably forced him to relive everything over and over again until he was somewhat healed.

Yeah that'll rewire your brain chemistry for sure.

Being unable to stop hyperfixating on the show with the worst drop in writing quality in the history of television is a nightmare designed especially for me.
