🏊 Racing at the Riccione pool has been great this weekend. A clean fourth place individually as well as with the relay team in the two most important events for me make this a successful campaign. A sneaky PB in the 50 free was a very nice cherry on top of that cake. After a comeback season last year, I have been able to reaffirm myself at or even above my previous level. I have combined all this with a crazy year of starting a company, yet without making any excuses and keeping the workload up in and out of the pool. I am extremely #thankful towards my support network. Can't say this often enough. The bottom line is I just really passionately love swimming. Really #happy with this last #weekend. Recharged the 🔋 in the south of #France after some #racing in @tarbes_ville . Have been working hard the past weeks, both in the #pool and in the office. Finally #kickedoff the new #season last #weekend with a #win in the overall point standings 🥇 More importantly, very #happy with where I currently am #physically. Doing 7 #races in 6 hours didn't nearly feel as bad as I expected it would for a season starter. We did a lot of #basework the last months, which is clearly paying off. Last weekend, on my #bday, we went through some old pictures. We came across this #tbt our first #swimming competition with my younger #brother and #sister. #Funny enough, I still remember this day quite well as I won a bronze medal. Nothing special you might think but everyone received a golden consolation #medal except second and third place, which meant I was the only one winning #bronze.
