Stale taste lies beneath my words Passing glance it's all so absurd Gaming life for self righteous sin When all the fixing still lies within Choice battles run to me And leave the rest behind Not those that I would choose If I could only choose to decide Sleep well the night won't last When you ponder thoughts of the past Live now the future holds All the rest if you break the mold Lost battles follow me Is it worth the fight at all Though I have never fought Still it gets me through the fall Run dry the well so cold Waiting for the story to be told Leading to a subconscious smile Wish i'd been there all the while As far as I can see The day still follows dawn And it all makes sense to me As this fleeting life goes on...
