A few samples from last year. This time last year the new influx of models was starting. SD3, SD3.5 and ultimately Flux. SDXL was still king, but the improvement in prompt adherence was noticeable.

Mayo ha sido un buen mes.

He terminado las cartas de la expansión Highlands of Swilften pero hasta que no termine de corregir Ravages of Swilften no la voy a publicar.

Los relatos para Ravages of Swilften estarán pronto. La idea es intentar corregir con IA (porque están en inglés y creo que puede funcionar). Publicaré los relatos ahora y la novela corta más adelante. Tengo que pensar si publico en algún sitio más del tipo Wattpad.

No he trabajado en la novela visual, pero cuando termine el último relato me pongo con ello, seguramente ya en verano y la implementación en otoño.

En cuanto a generación de imágenes IA sigo con mucho interés el progreso de Chroma. La última época no me ha gustado mucho, a ver si la 33 mejora porque hay algo de "misma cara" en la versión 32 y alguna tendencia a generar emborronado.

Acaba de salir un modelo de la empresa que publicó Flux, que permite la edición conversando a través de un chat como ChatGPT. La izquierda es la original y la segunda es diciendo que le quitara edad y las canas. Muy interesante, espero que la versión que publiquen con pesos abiertos no pierda mucho.

Lo que también me ha sorprendido pero es difícil de evaluar es el modelo Veo 3 de google que genera vídeo con sonido. Mi sueño de hacer una película con "The Baddies" puede no estar tan lejos como parecía.

Goodbye Chroma v30

v30 of Chroma has improved hands a lot. Time to say goodbye to it and welcome v31. This cycle is really fast, hopefully there aren't any unnecessary drastic changes at this point and the model learns steadily until it is fully trained.

Resumen de abril

Ha sido un mes productivo.

Tengo ya el borrador de tres relatos (y otro empezado) de la colección de Ravages in Swilften, y las ideas para los otros 3. También he empezado a diseñar la ampliación de cartas inspirada en folklore y estética escocesa.

No he trabajado en la novela visual, pero ya tengo algo de la estructura de la historia.

He recibido la liquidación de honorarios del editor. He vendido 1 novela de "El corazón del constructo" en 2024.

El trabajo lo llevo muy al día sin grandes apreturas.

Aunque no lo utilice a diario ni a todas horas ChatGPT es un asistente muy útil. Solo con lo que me ha ahorrado de tiempo en el trabajo, ya es dinero bien invertido.

He guardado 248 imágenes generadas por IA. Una de mis imágenes favoritas del mes que no he utilizado para nada.

It's a new month. Last month saw the release of HiDream which I like but it won't replace Flux. Also I started using chatGPT.

Something from the archive a year ago. SDXL (Dreamshaper) style support hasn't been matched.
