You literally are by saying that 60 million is change. It's not. Just say that you don't know anything if that's what you think.
You know, using specific terms wildly dilutes their meaning and effectiveness when used incorrectly.
Me stating (after acknowledging that yes this is a special case) that 60 million dollars to an entire sports league is like pocket change is not spreading misinformation, it is an opinion.
Now if I were to say there's no such thing as Palestine, or that Hamas was beheading babies... there are verifiable facts proving the opposite. Those aren't opinions, they are just incorrect, and anyone saying otherwise is then actively trying to spread misinformation.
I've said multiple times that I'm done with this ridiculous argument, but I've given in and decided to award you the five minutes of attention you're so desperately seeking and clearly can't find anywhere else. Anything further will be ignored at this point.

Not “hope you’re right” lol. This deal already brought in 60+ million dollars instead of less than 10 like the previous deal
Not you still trying to pick a fight when I said I didn't want to argue about it lol. In sports 60 million is pocket change, especially when talking about an entire league. I get this is a special situation tho.
I'm glad they got their money, but there is nothing you can say that will make me like being inconvenienced, or want to put in extraneous effort 🤷‍♀️
Edited to add: I got your latest message anon, but like I said I'm done. I'm not spreading misinformation, I did acknowledge that this is a special case. You have your opinion, and I have mine. Fuck off, it's not that serious 🙄

Also 16 of the games the Wave play are 100% free so that’s better.
It's not about whether it was free, it was about the inconvenience. I don't want to wonder every week where the match is. I watch a lot of sports, and pretty much all of them have set channels/services. Obviously there are some exceptions (like "nationally televised" games, or that AppleTV partnership the MLB has going on for example), but for the most part the entire season is going to be in one place.

It’s accessible for non-fans discovering the league and brings in tons more money. That’s why there’s deserved praise
I guess I just find it hard to believe that substantial growth can be attained this way, for various reasons. I don't want to be argumentative about it so I'll just keep my unpopular opinion, I guess. For the sake of the sport, I hope you're right and it does bring in tons of money.

Am I the only person alive who doesn't think that spreading out coverage across multiple paid-subscription services is increasing the accessibility of the game? Everything I've seen is only offering praise. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
Like Paramount+ is definitely not perfect, but at least I knew where all the games were. This is the broadcast breakdown just for SD:
NWSL+ - 8 ION - 8 Prime Video - 6 CBSSN - 2 CBS - 2 ESPN - 1
And heaven forbid I want to watch any of the other matches... who knows where they'd be? You need at least five different services. Like I feel so annoyed. If I didn't love my SD girlies so much I'd say fuck it and find something else to do (I still might honestly).

So my #1 team won the Shield, and my #2 team won the Championship. Overall I'd say I had a pretty satisfactory NWSL campaign 😌

just got a weak-ass non-reponse from one of my senators in response to the pathetic pleading our stupid fucking system forces me to have to do to stop our tax dollars from being used to murder 10,000 civilians (and counting) so out of spite here's a handy tip for folks in the us who keep getting told to call their reps and hate the phone:
when it comes to contacting your representatives, emails are better than nothing and phone calls answered by a person do have an effect, but another hard-to-ignore way to send a message is to send a letter that politicians and their staffers have to physically handle in order to address and physically dispose of in order to ignore its contents—or, just as good as a letter, a good old-fashioned fax
i've been using faxzero.com. it has pages that link to pre-populated forms to directly fax your senators, congressional representatives, and governors. you can send five faxes a day for free, and if enough people do that our representatives' offices could be filled with an obnoxious volume of paper faxes begging them to stop funding mass murder
i know a lot of leftists have mixed feelings on contacting representatives at best. personally, i hate it and usually find it a humiliating waste of political energy better spent elsewhere. however, getting politicians onboard is the fastest way to get the bombings to stop and any indignity is worth enduring if it stops the slaughter still going on as i write this. and for real, it's easy and occasionally a little cathartic. so, please, for the sake of the millions still left in gaza, flood your shitty senator's office until they can't ignore us anymore
