Looking at the picture of this place brings me back because we used to live near here when i was little near the University of Perpetual Help DALTA Las Piñas, plenty of memories flash through my head, each one like a priceless piece from the past. I'm taken back to a simpler time when there were lots of delights and few fears when I see the familiar streets lining with trees and hear the soft murmur of daily life. My heart is filled with nostalgia and desire for the quiet neighborhood where I used to go around freely, the neighbors who treated me like family, and the charming stores and malls that carried childhood treasures.

This photograph is captured in Festival Mall, This place captures the essence of my childhood, a time when visits to Festival Mall were cherished adventures. The sight of X-Site, with its towering rides and colorful attractions, brings a rush of excitement and anticipation. Each visit was a thrilling escapade, filled with laughter, screams of delight, and the thrill of conquering fears. The carousel, Ferris wheel, and bumper cars were not just rides they were portals to a world of imagination and endless fun. yes we still go there sometimes but it just doesnt feel the same maybe the place changed or we ourselves are the ones who changed.

This photo captures the road that leads to the entrance of festival mall as a child, entering through those doors felt like stepping into a wonderland of endless possibilities. I still remember the thrill of not knowing what to expect when I went to explore X-Site and Pixie Forest inside the mall. The vibrant energy of the place, bustling with families and friends, added to the charm of those cherished moments. Knowing that those moments are frozen in time and permanently engraved in the halls of memory is a bittersweet feeling. It is sad that this location might eventually be abandoned or transformed into something else. The Festival Mall's entrance causes a number of emotions in me, like a portal to my past an overwhelming feeling of appreciation for the memories that created who I am today, a bit of regret for the fleeting nature of youth, and joy for the happy days spent there. It acts as a reminder of the charm of revisiting special times through the lenses of nostalgia and the beauty discovered in innocence.

Echoes of Time is the title I chose because I believe it explores the deep influence of nostalgia on our recollections of our early years.
