India has now successfully launched its mission to Mars. The mission was achieved at an extraordinary low price tag of Rs 450 crore ($74 million) - 1/10 of what a similar mission would cost NASA or ESA. Its one more occasion where India has faced discrimination from International media houses..
The author of this reply on Quora.com lists criticism and replies to all with right answers.
He rightly compares the moment for Indians with what it was for Americans in 1960s for the moon mission.
This unjustified criticism from International media harms dignity of poor in India more than others. Also, it seems that its more of those efforts in which other nations are trying to stop India from venturing, researching, exploring so that it has to depend on other countries to flourish their corporations eying 1.26billion human market and a large need of security equipments, power reactors and many more.
The fact that India's mission to moon was completed in 1/10 of what it coasted to other #NASA and #ESA has put those in worry. I don't agree to Ars Tecnica that users should pay for the articles by means of allowing ads. If they really think that users like their articles so much, they should have sign up fee.
However, I don't agree with Adblock Plus that websites should pay them for getting added to whitelist. Showing ads should be left between websites and users.
Idea of allowing non-intrusive ads is not bad. Personally, I don't want to see any ads on the websites I don't wish to.
I would like to know about "acceptable ads". Can someone help?
