Conversation
What she says: I'm fine.
What she means: Every now and then I sit here and think about the fact that the RvB miniseries aren't on Netflix and there's no indication at all that you're missing any important material, after all here are all the seasons in chronological order. And yet the side story that takes place across Out of Mind and Recovery One--retcons and all--is absolutely essential to the series. The introductions of York and Delta and Wash and South are iconic as the first glimpses we get of both Freelancers and an AI outside of the Blood Gulch storyline. York's death, the grudge between him and Wyoming, the Counselor's conversation with Wash, his betrayal by South, the Dakotas' complicated relationship, all of these things set up critical plot points that will return later in the series--huge, emotionally significant scenes in the Freelancer stories are missing staggering amounts of context without the miniseries. How much weight does the three-on-one fight in season 9 lose without the context of Out of Mind? How many critical character moments in season 10 call back to Recovery One? How many new viewers marathon the series on Netflix never knowing what they're missing? I don't know, man, but it keeps me up at night.
#red vs blue#never thought of watching it any other way#but then again I watched it all as it came out

This is Scooby-Doo in a nutshell right here, folks.
So, these three are investigating an abandoned sawmill, because of course they are.

Shaggy stands in his designated Totally Unsuspicious Floor Square that’s utterly indistinguishable from the rest of the floor.
Trust me. It just is.

They talk for a bit… Scooby makes this face…
…and Velma is inevitably grabbed by a ghost yeti.
…additionally, I should note that being grabbed by a ghost yeti makes her hat change colors.

Next, Shaggy falls through the floor, because OMIGOSH IT WAS ACTUALLY A TRAPDOOR CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?
…though, to be fair, I guess anything is possible in Scooby-Doo…
…after all, an entire new wall snuck up behind them between shots.
I freakin’ love this show.

Just because you learn that you come from true love doesn’t mean that you believe that you’ll ever find it. But thanks to you, now I have.

I’m screaming??? So my cat knows I get upset when he steps on my paintings (not yelling or anything I think he just sees me spend hours trying to cover up what his paws do) in my “studio” which is a crammed small storage closet with painting all over the floor drying , so like I’m in there rn and I saw him try to get to point A to point b but it was impossible for him to jump over so like he realized the matte parts were dry and like he was stepping on the corners of the painting and every step he’d look at his paw to see if he fucked up and honestly it was the most thoughtful thing ever I don’t ever wanna hear anyone ever say that cats don’t care
