"Asheville" by Lost Cat Found (2025)
The latest side project, Lost Cat Found is a cross-coastal collaboration of cousins and college roommates that blends folk, rock, and country influences, with Americana roots.
Finding inspiration in the wake of Hurricane Helene flooding, the debut single "Asheville," is a haunting meditation on change and loss in the vein of The Felice Brothers, The Wood Brothers, Leon Russell and others. It was written by cousins John Mancini and Jason Emory; and produced by John with Adam Kahn and drummer Amos Przekaza.
Lost Cat Found was named in honor of our first fan, the gray cat who used to visit our studio during band practice and sing for his supper.

Hot Off the Press

The reviews are in! Check out what people outside of the US are saying about the new album, There Must Be Some Mistake!
UK-based music blog, electronica, wrote a feature on the experimental track, "Aliens Ate My Dog." (Rocco was pleased.)
The award-winning Visual Atelier 8, edgy art mag out of Italy, featured the track, "Turn Around."
Amsterdam-based, Gobsmag, dug into the archives to share "It's Dangerous Out There," one of my long-time faves.
Keep Walking Music, an independent music blog based in Spain and Morocco, gave "Something's Gotta Give" a shoutout.
Soulwaves, a blog based in Mexico, offered a nice write-up of "Running in Circles," the first track on the new LP.
Stream all eleven tracks wherever you listen--which may as well be Spotify--and please share the love!

Best Western (2022)
The first full-length album since 2011â˛s Sun King, Best Western will be released on January 14, 2022!Â
A whole saddlebag of new songs--and some old favs to boot--Best Western seeks that sweet spot between a good story and a catchy melody. Vintage synths, organs and drum-machines provide a lush foundation for guitar driven arrangements and smooth vocals that showcase the wanderlust, humor and tongue-in-cheek nostalgia of these eleven songs about cities and dilemmas, real and imagined.Â
