writing this journal is frustrating but fun. its really cool getting to flesh out his character more. giving him his own writing style, and even adding little details like how he writes pretty vaguely about stuff, but any entries that include ben get more specific because he pays attention more. digby is also the less vocal of the two, so its a cool way for him to express himself, unlike ben who just says whatevers on his mind

my ocs full names + meanings/explanations except 80% of the time i just pick names that sound pretty :

starting with my hpii ocs,

• stella ivona octangula

-first and last name as in the shape stella octangula, which are mentioned throughout hawaii pt ii

-just thought ivona sounded pretty :3

• simon morsimos mortymer

-simon is from the original mind electric demo "inside the mind of simon"

-morsimos means "doomed" or "fated to die"

-mortymer means dead sea

-i know morsimos is technically a last name but i think it sounds cool dont come for me sigh

onto my cowboy ocs,

• benjamin renée cassidy

-benjamin after ben schneider from lord huron

-renée is my moms middle name i just thought it was pretty 😛

-original last name was willard but i was getting too many will wood jokes so i changed it to cassidy. it was just another last name in my list

• digby ryan

-i cant remember where i got the name digby from

-hes got no middle name. as far as hes away his parents never cared enough to give him one

-i like when characters have two first names its fun
