I want to come out to my mother as aroace and Non-binary, and I know she supports me, but I'm still nervous to do it because she doesn't quite understand.

I know she wouldn't be rude about it or anything, but I also feel her lack of knowledge and understanding on the subject will make it difficult. Please help!

Okay so firstly, if you want to do it in person, talk to her face to face, write some notes down about what you want to say, and also i’d say get the definition for both aroace and nonbinary, then explain what it means to you.
