Here's my proposal for Ms. Taylor Swift and Mr. Joseph Kahn: Give me a shot directing the "Getaway Car" music video. Of all of the songs on reputation, "Getaway Car" hits me the most: a sprawling, heart-thumping epic of love or lack thereof, the in-betweens of break-ups and start-ups and the messiness of beginning a new relationship without giving oneself room to breathe. With your help and signatures, I think there's a chance of making this happen. In Getaway Car, Taylor sings of her newfound relationship: "We never had a shot-gun shot in the dark," but here...here, I think we've got a shot.
