To anyone considering not voting because of the Palestinian genocide, I have this to ask:

How many Palestinian people do you think you're helping by laying back and inviting the GOP to crush you under foot? Self flagellation didn't cure The Plague, and it won't fix this situation either.

If you don't like the idea of voting for Harris, I doubt I'll be able to change your mind, but consider this: 468 congressional seats out of a total 535 are up for re-election THIS NOVEMBER. You want to make the government start actually representing the will of the people? Start there.

We're living in frightening times, and apathy is a very comfortable state of being, but you need to act. If you don't, who will?

Den-Swe SV 2024 Fashion Recap

Here I come as promised:

Day 1

Mary: Love the dress and navy&white colour scheme, don't hate the shawl, but it's probably more practical to wear a proper coat. However, HATE THE HAT.

Silvia: It's a common silhouette for her, but I'm just not feeling the colours, reminds me of Bollywood or something. And the check pattern doesn't help either.

Victoria: I like the pink on her, also the black accessories. But the lengths of the dress and the coat do look weird. I normally don't mind it if the coat is a bit shorter, but this is too much. Hat, typical Victoria.

Sofia: Good simple white dress, nothing to note.

Day 1 Banquet

Mary: I like the new top, but I hope she would've taken the whole runway outfit with the burgundy skirt, instead of keep changing the golden skirt. It would've looked great with the rubies.

Silvia: good old repeat, not much to say

Victoria: Lovely new gown, my favourite of the night. Great colour, even greater neckline, very flattering on Vic. I only wish the neckline was either symmetric or more asymmetric, currently it looks like it has been skewered by the sash and the brooch.

Sofia: another repeat, like the pale blue colour, the rest of the design not too much.

Day 2

Mary: One of my favourite day dresses of hers (can't believe we've got the designer wrong the whole time).

Silvia: not my favourite blazer... but it's all good. Interesting that both Queens chose to wear a cape today.

Victoria: Seems everyone has agreed to go on solid colour, this one is not to my taste, too neon, also don't like the boxy short sleeves.

Sofia: good colour, good silhouette, flattering on her

Day 2 Evening

Mary: My favourite of the evening, love the dress as well as the coat. I wish I could tie my coats as well as she does.

Silvia: a white suit, with the same white cape I think.

Victoria: love the dress, but not sure the beige coat goes with the rest of the outfit. Something white or red would be better.

Sofia: seems that the colour white is the common theme this evening. An ok outfit, baggy pants were never my favourite.
