Me when I saw Malverions design:

The sorcerer

Imagine putting so much effort into a background character that's been dead for centuries lmao

Well anyway, this is Malverion :3

Now, you might have noticed that he doesn't have a face, well he does of course, but we are not meant to see it. He is a faceless character, so if I ever draw him normally, his face will be covered by shadows or I will draw him from behind.

The book he's holding belongs to him. It's his diary but it's also full of spells he came up with. Malverion liked to experiment and mess around with magic, and one day, he somehow got his hands on wishing star magic.

The wishing stars caught wind of this (mostly because Malverion wasn't exactly being secretive about it), and had to deal with it, including Malverion. He became the first and only person who got killed by wishing stars.

Hope you guys like Malverion!

Btw, I'm getting really close to start writing my Wish rewrite! I've been getting sooo many ideas for scenes and they all finally start to connect with each other✨✨

✨️WoaS!Mag and the Magnifi-clones✨️

Today I wanted to talk a little about the clones that WoaS!Mag can make of himself lol. Because what's better then one WoaS!Mag? Multiple of course.

If you remember from a previous post of mine, I did talk about them a little lol.

But I thought, why not talk a little bit more about them?

Here is the design of a Magnifi-clone:

As you can tell, they're dresses much simpler now than the original. Why do they not look exactly like him? Because not even a copy of himself is allowed to out-shine his glorious looks (and because I would pass away from drawing his main outfit over and over and over again lol. So yeah, that pencil drawing is abit outdated lol). The clone does not wear any accesories and much smaller high heels, because nobody, not even WoaS!Mag himself can be taller than him.

The clone outfit also includes small details from previous outfits which you might remember seeing before (depending on what time you discovered my rewrite) lol.

(It's so funny that you can tell by the outfits how big his ego has gotten depending on the outfits lmao.)

Another difference (and a sign to tell a clone apart from the real person) is a small detail about the eyes.

On the left, you can see that the eye has two white circles. But the tiny circle in the eye of a clone is not filled out, it's just an outline.

Magic in my rewrite is kind of like A.I., it can generate and create things, but they aren't perfect. But the more powerful magic you have, the more perfect the magic generated stuff is. WoaS!Mag can clone himself as much as he wants (but of course has to pay for it in some way for it, because magic gives to you and takes from you), but after three days the clone dissapear. During the passing of those 3 days, they start to look more weird. Details start melting together, extra limbs or fingers grow, or flaws that were small at the beginning spread on the clone.

These small details can be a slightly different eye- and hair color, a different nose shape and, worst of all: A difference in height.

There is one clone that WoaS!Mag does not like because it is one centimeter taller than him.

While all the other clones are named Magnifico 2, Magnifico 3, Magnifico 4, (and so on so forth,) this clone is named Mark. Mark is disliked by WoaS!Mag because Mark is a little bit taller than him when both aren't wearing their high heels. Because of that, Magnifico is always the rudest to Mark, who dosen't even realize that he's being bullied.

You see, the clones aren't really aware of what's going on around them. Their only thoughts are "Listen to and obey our boss" and "Boost his ego, he's the best and we love him!" And that's all they can think and all they know. That is why he loves his clones (except Mark) very much. Maybe he loves his clones a little too much, but you know him and his ego by now lol. The idea for the clones came from that one scene in "This is the thanks I get" where Canon!Mag talks to his reflections who compliment him. (Also, for anyone wondering, yes my Magnifico will sing that song lol.)

Now for a last fun thing:

1. Can't say, that's a spoiler. But all I can say that it's not how it is in the movie lol.

I have a question: Wouldn't you include the 100-year-old character (i.e., Sabino) and there's no character who could replace him?

Well, there's a character that kinda (?) takes his role in a way. It's the previous King of Rosas, Rosio. While he is not related to Asha or Nico or has ever met them, in flashbacks later on you'll see how he kind of takes that role.

As for the 100 years thing, Rosio lived to the age 70, but the kingdom of Rosas will turn 100 during the current events of the story.

✨️The People of the Hamlet/ The People of Rosas✨️

Today I present to you a post about the outfits of the WoaS!Hamlet/ "The Village for Outcasts" and Rosas!

Color plays an important role when talking about these two different places:

As you can see, the people of the Hamlet have alot of more color variety than the people in Rosas, who are limited to light blues, sparkly blue, silver and white (the same colors that the Royals wear.) The two shades of purple are from Amaya's necklace and her cat Morado's collar.

As you probably have noticed, there's none or barely any purple in the Hamlet's color palette. That is because purple is an extremly hard color to get and because the Royals are rich, they of course can afford it. Purple and black will also be the main colors of my Royals in Act 2.

(Here is an older versions of their act 2 outfits. It is very outdated, but I wanted to show you something related to their act 2 outfits lol. You can tell this is old because WoaS!Mag is not wearing 20 inch high heels or is short lol)

In the Hamlet, everyone can wear the colors that they like. On their clothes you can see stars on them because the people of the Hamlet believe that the stars aren't evil. Some people even wear star jewlery that they have made themselfs from crystals they find, because the people live in an giant gem cave.

Yes, in this version the Hamlet is underground and built in an giant abandoned mine. It is from this mine where WoaS!Mag got his jewlery from but he abandoned it and the other crystals when his workers couldn't find any more of his favourite light blue crystals.

But even if the people of the Hamlet have more creative liberty with their fashion choices, their clothes aren't always in the best condition though. Often you'll find rips and patches on the clothes. (And because the outfits of the WoaS!7 teens don't include these details, expect an update on their outfits soon.)

Examples for this are the clothes of Rosaline (leader of the Hamlet), who actually was the very first person to be cast out.

And then the more recent example of three side-characters from the Hamlet: Florence, Fidia and Marcus, three siblings.

(Fidia is blind on one eye.)

Also, the three siblings are a refrence to the three fairies in Sleeping Beauty: Flora, Fauna and Merryweather. You can tell because of the colors of their clothes: red, green and blue and because the names start with the same letter/letters.

Florence= Flora

Fidia= Fauna

Marcus= Merryweather

Marcus' cape, as you might've noticed, looks like Orion's cape but abit more damaged. That is because some people wear capes that look like those of the stars as another way to show that they want to be friends with the stars.

The people in Rosas meanwhile do not have such outfit problems. This is what everyone has to wear (no matter if child or grown-up).

As you can see, the women (outfit on the right) have to wear gloves because of the "no showing fingers, shoulders, ankles" rule. And, if you didn't notice, the Outfit for the men are inspired by this lol:

Yes, WoaS!Mag makes all the men and boys dress somewhat like himself. Because of course he does.

The outfits in Rosas also do not have any stars on them. That is not only because they do not trust them, but also because the star shape has a different meaning in Rosas. You see, the wishes in WoaS are trapped in star-shaped crystals instead of round orbs. That's why the WoaS!Royals, especially Magnifico, have so many on their outfit. Those stars represent the wishes.

If any character of the Hamlet wears something star-related it represents the actual wishing star. If the star on a character's clothing is light blue, it usually stands for the wishes. But if it's yellow/orange, it stands for the wishing stars.

Funnily enough, in the way way way way way way waayyyyyyyyyyyyy earlier days of WoaS, when I had just begun gathering ideas, I did play with the idea of using this scrapped idea. But because of personal experiences, I didn't go trough with it.

Could you do Asha and Orion and Magnífico and Amaya with the roles reversed?

That sounds very fun! So sure! (Another thing to add to my AU ideas for my rewrite lol)

(Princess Amaya) (Pluto)

(King Inoro) (Queen Asha)

Some things about this AU:

-Amaya (17 in this version) keeps her smart and cunning personality, but this time with no manipulation.

-Mag is called Pluto (17 years old) in this version. He's nicer, but still has a bit of an ego lol. Because of his small height, he always wants to prove that he can acomplish things, because others think he can't do anything really.

-In this AU, Orion (here called Inoro, 57 years old) is a cold-hearted king. Originally, he was a wishing star but because he was doing forbidden magic, the stars threw him out of the sky. Inoro only kept some of his powers and a spell book of his.

-Asha in this AU shares the cold-heartedness with Inoro (and is two years older than him). Having lost her parents when other family members of hers had betrayed them, she had nothing left besides her newly born daughter.

She and her husband use the wishes to keep themselfs alive and younger longer. But these little pieces of magic aren't enough energy for them, so they want to use Pluto for his magic to regain theirs.

This was very fun to draw!

✨️A Video about the WoaS!7 Teens✨️

It's been a while since I made one of these videos and I never made one about the 7 Teens in my rewrite, so why not do both?✨️

Here you can see abit of their personalities, something I will talk about sooner or later eventually lol. But what I'll say is: They are a very chaotic, silly, yet well-meaning, (sometimes crime commiting) group who likes working together!

✨️A Royal Outfit Upgrade ✨️

So I decided, to match his always growing ego, that WoaS!Magnifico should get a new outfit.

But then I thought: Wait, then Nico has to get one too because of the whole "he has to be like his dad" thing. Finally I then decided to also add a few little changes to the outfits of WoaS!Amaya and Asha.

Here are the sketches and the colored versions!

As you can see, WoaS!Mag is covered in crystals and some jewlery now too lol. It shows his big ego and also in this way he can show off how wealthy he is.

(And I didn't mention this in any post yet, but I am sometimes making small outfit changes to my characters and uploading that to the refrences. In the drawing for WoaS!Gabo you can see that he's wearing an familiar looking bracelet:

WoaS!Gabo has stolen a bracelet and earrings from Magnifico, as revenge because the king took his dagger away because Gabo tried to stab him in the foot lol)

-A bonus question to the rewriters who's Magnifico also has the vain personality: Would you think that WoaS!Magnifico is even more vain then yours lol?(I'm sorry if this question or the other two seem rude in some way, that'd not my intention.)

(If you're wondering why I'm doing this, a friend said that it would be fun to see your reaction to my Mag's personality and relationship with his wife lol. I'm sorry if this comes across as annoying or something.)

Before we start with listing the good stuff about their relationship, let's get the bad stuff out of the way first:

WoaS!Magnifico has a very, very big ego. He loves to carry a mirror around so that he can always see his face. (He also wears foundation to hide any wrinkles and takes about 2 hours to get ready.)

He actually has a whole collection of these hand-mirrors, one for each day. They also all have names, which he memorized. (Does he remember his wedding anniversary? No, but that's not important to remember anyways.)

Those aren't his only mirrors, because 1000 mirrors isn't close to enough. He also has big mirrors hanging around the castle so that he can look at himself while walking through his home. And because he is just so handsome, he naturally has alot of portraits of himself hanging around, because the more of him the better!

Of course there are portraits of his family too: Of his son, Magnifico Junior (everyone besides his dad calls him Nico, no need to explain why), his wife and their cat. (Oh and his daughter too of course, but then again she dosen't need any portraits. She knows what she looks like and the less portraits of her, the more portraits of him!)

If you are wondering, yes, WoaS!Magnifico had to ask his wife if they could name their first child Magnifico Junior. Did he annoy her with that question so much until she said yes just to get him to shut up? Yes, but he got his way and that's always good. She sadly didn't allow him to name their daughter "Magnifica", which made him very upset.

(WoaS!Magnifico and Nico (7 years at that moment))

He is also always honest with what he's saying. If his wife asks him if this dress makes her look a little fat, he'll say "Not just a little, but extremly." because he dosen't like people who aren't thin. That's why his kids aren't allowed to eat much. But I'm sure it's fine, it's not like we need food or something like that lol.

WoaS!Magnifico is also always right in his mind. In his oppinion, wanting to use magic to create art is much better than actually having to work for it. (This is supposed to mirror A.I being used to generate art. Something I'm very much against.) Working is for peasants only, and his daughter, who is weirdly against him using magic to create art. He dosen't get why she's doing this labour of drawing stuff by hand, but then again: She is a girl, so of course she's not bright. Because really, what's the use of his daughter? In his eyes she's not pretty, not smart, too loud and very annoying. Her only use to him is that she gets married and has a bunch of kids, just sons and no daughters, which she then has to raise to be just like her dad. The same goes for Nico if he gets married and has kids one day. Because what the world needs is of course more WoaS!Magnifico. If his kids don't agree with what he's saying, he will hit them. He did it before and he still does it to this day. WoaS!Amaya dosen't do that anymore though.

(Speaking of that, he can also clone himself using mirrors. The clones will help him with stuff in the story, but he mostly uses them to boost his ego.)

Another thing he's right about is that the earth is flat. Sure, there are multiple sources confirming that the earth is round, but those sources are clearly false. If he dosen't believe it, it just isn't true.

All of this is really getting on his wife's nerves. It's not like she dosen't try to talk with him about it, but he ignores her because his reflection is just more important. WoaS!Magnifico is also very much oblivious to the fact that nobody really likes him.

WoaS!Amaya usually solves her problems and frustration like any normal person: with a glass of wine (which usually turn into more than one). And because of that and because she's gotten used to her husband's ego, she genuinely does not care about anything anymore and is just done with everything.

But she can't leave Rosas. Otherwise she has no place to go and she's also the only one who actually takes care of the political things and other stuff that WoaS!Magnifico should be doing as the king. In his eyes, WoaS!Magnifico has done enough for the kingdom: He defeated the star king and thus ending war, he created the force-field around Rosas and, most importantly, he's handsome. But still he thinks that he's really the one doing all the hard work because he's the best in everything.

But back then before the war, the two actually had a better relationship.

(The Royals but younger, in their 30's. WoaS!Magnifico is just really short and wears the high heels as an ego boost lol.)

Do you have a favorite thing, or favorite things, about WOAS!Asha? Her design? Her character?

Hmmmmm...

When talking about her design, I think I like her hair the most. Not only because of the hairstyle but also because it will visually show how her character has developed! As you know, her hair starts of tied together by two bands with pearls. They symbolize her parents who hold her back from becoming a truely happy person. Later on in the story it's just one band and then later, none. When this moment is reached, we know that she's truely free from her parents now. There will also be a point in the story near the end before the big battle where she cuts her hair (by her own choice I might add, which she normaly never had because of her parents) so that she can fight better.

If we're talking character: Her hidden strength. What I hope to show at the beginning of WoaS is that Asha always had strength in her and the potential to become a great leader who rules both with knowledge and heart. But because of her parents, she dosen't ever get to use that strength. While the story progresses, she learns to develop and find that strength, while still keeping her kidness.

I think I genuinely love everything about him, but his outfit is something I'm proud of. It's not super super fancy, but that fits to his character. I also love his cape with the stars on it✨️
