We came back from Sulani late last night. I still smell sea salt and strawberry rosé on my coat, and I’m not sure I ever want to wash it off.
Alex booked the whole trip — our first official vacation together. Candlelit dinners. Sunrise violin on the balcony. Matching silk robes. He sees me in a way that no one else ever has — not just Ariana the “it girl,” but Ariana who wants to feed people, Ariana who dreams of Michelin stars and mothering a menu more than a baby. And he loves me anyway.
But now, we’re back home. Back to Ciudad — back to planning the restaurant, balancing my budget, and dodging paparazzi rumors that I only got into culinary school because of my mom.
