Ngl, I had so much fun drawing this today :'D I was stuck in town, but I brought my sketchbook with me and spent all day drawing this stream of consciousness style. It felt good to draw all willy nilly, and let things look Bad for once. Where the goal isn't to make everything look perfect. And this is so so so dumb, I was grinning like an idiot half the time. Twas a long, manic, coffee fueled drawing session.

Normally I don't pay tumblr polls much mind, but there's something so hilarious about this. I like to imagine these guys are all together. Everyone's a nervous, sweaty wreck. It's a horrible, fucked up mpreg contest and NO ONE wants to be there.

one of these messages on the website is an image of an ultrasound of a baby-- a triangular baby. on it, there is the message "congrats, guess what's growing inside you right now! see you in nine months, papa!"

so…. ford might be mpregnant with his ex, bill ciphers baby. yayyyy."

Add in that the whole plot is that he basically got isekai'd (technically transmigrated but whatever) into the world of a shoddily written porn novel means that there is a somewhat decent chance that there is something out there in-universe that COULD get him pregnant. Who knows maybe his husband could do it by himself with enough determination. If not, he has a line of other men practically begging to do it for him. If you need more reasons why he should be pregnant, the fandom went absolutely insane at some point in the past year and spawned a creature known as Skinzun, a hairless cat version of Shen Qingqiu with a human face that nurtures his skin children with his milk. I am not joking even remotely. It spawned a movement of other skin creatures, though Skinzun is the only relevant one in this scenario. ColeyDoesThings has a YouTube video on it. It's terrifying. However, it does prove that people think he is very motherly!"

Fun fact about Serpas (Bill in my AU): he can “possess” people— though it’s more puppetry magic than possession. The spines on his arms and tail contain a paralyzing venom that can last for several hours.

Ok so for months I’ve had this ask sitting in my inbox

Finally, FINALLY since its mermay I decided to do it.

I ended up liking it so much that I started thinking of lore and it all spiraled into an AU.

So I present to you:

Submersion Falls

Ford comes to gravity falls for the same reasons as he did in canon except that on top of all his other interest, he also has a degree in marine/aquatic biology. Long story short, he somehow breaks one of the seals that kept Serpas (Bill) imprisoned. He was put there like 500 years ago by the Shaman after being a destructive force of nature in the ocean for Eons. They convinces Ford to break the seal on them so that their full power can come back and they can go back to the sea.

Despite having 500 years to contemplate, Bill doesn't actually know how to break the seal, because the Shaman put a curse on it that makes them unable to see it and only a human can break it. But also it's at the bottom of the lake, which is really, unnaturally deep. So Ford needs to build a special submarine. HOWEVER. There is also a time limit because the seal can only be broken on a special event that happens every 500 years, the same night where the Shaman first sealed them. So after a few months, Ford realizes that he'll never be able to make it in time and calls Fiddleford.

And that’s how the story starts :)
