MY WORK IMMERSION EXPERIENCE IN COMELEC - TALISAY
Batch 2 (12libra)
March 13 ,2024-April 5,2024
1st Week of Work Immersion:
On my first week in work immersion, I wake up early in the morning, and prepare my things and food and went at Talisay City Hall Comelec Office. As we arrived there, while the batch 1 was waiting for us inside the comelec's office, i also waited for my other classmates so we can go to the office together. When we arrived in the office, we did the introduction of ourselves individually. After that, we oriented by the batch 1 about the tasks that we need to do until the end of our work immersion.
It was just the first week of us but I already managed to learn all of our responsibilities. The COMELEC's services and processes was very fast, just bring the qualified requirements such as NSO or any government ID. The procedure has a three (3) steps only. The first step is where you will get the form. Step two is the filling out, this is where you write down your personal informations. Lastly, the step three is you will be captured.
Each one of my co-workers has an assignment, and I was assigned in the step 2. I taught people who doesn't have a knowledge about the form. These was my routine in the entire 1 week.
My Second Week of Work Immersion:
April 1,2024- April 5,2024
On my second week of work immersion, our supervisor asked me to clean the cabinet and it finished for two days. I struggled cleaning it because it has a lot of mouse and cockroach, but then I also felt happy on our co-workers and supervisor's story about their childhood experiences.
Our seniors needs our help in the forms, we should sort it according to the barangays. It was 20 barangays and I felt really tired, then we finished it for three days straight. On our last day in work immersion, it was a bit hard and sad for me because I already used to love my work and the people there. Our supervisor treat us a snacks and drinks as an appreciation our works. My entire work immersion really taught me a lot, and I am very thankful to the opportunity and the experience that I will cherish everyday.
